Pros: Everything, very quaint, very well appointed and smart.
Cons: Breakfast could have been a little more extensive, but still very nice. Booking.com need to change their advice however regarding parking; at the time of booking we were told there was plenty of on-street parking - however we were told upon arrival that it was only for residents with fines likely, so it cost us £30 for underground parking 10 minutes away.

Cosy hotel with excellent views
Pros: This friendly small hotel is very close to the university, so excellent for a short work trip in that area. I had booked a single room but was upgraded to a double with a lovely view across town to Fløyen. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, and the breakfast was simple but excellent - loved the homemade granola!
Cons: The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud, to the extent that it was hard to concentrate on putting on make-up while it was running - but it's also not possible to have the light on in the bathroom without the fan (understandable). I found myself avoiding turning the bathroom light on when not 100% necessary. The water pressure in the shower was also quite poor, but I guess that's to be expected on the third floor of an old building.

Pros: Highlight: Hotel Park staff excellence I want to specially recognise the staff at Hotel Park for their outstanding service orientation and exceptional professionalism. The level of excellence they demonstrated is rarely found—even in hotels with a higher star rating.

Very good and friendly hotel with character.
Pros: Lovely and tastefully decorated building, very friendly staff, and delicious breakfast.
Cons: The bedroom was a bit small and there was no shower curtain, so everything got very wet in the tiny bathroom.

Pros: Lovely old place, warm and comfortable, very pleasant staff, good breakfast.
Cons: Since I was the almost the only person there, it would have been a nice gesture not to put me in the attic (no lift), but I got a pretty good deal price wise, so can't complain.

Good value for the money and was one of the nicest places we stayed.
Pros: The bedrooms were huge and really nice. plenty of space and decorated lovely. The bathroom was a good size too. Friendly staff. Good location for the centre of Bergen.
Cons: The parking was a good walk away and not the easiest to find and is a struggle when you have suitcases to get back up the hill to the hotel.

Enjoyed stay but disappointed in annex and size of room. Felt very cramped.
Pros: Very clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast good quality.
Cons: Small rooms. Annex felt of lesser standard than main hotel. Lack of storage space.

Hotel Park was an ideal base for a visit to beautiful Bergen.
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. There was an excellent variety of breakfast items. Everything was fresh and well displayed and dishes were refilled regularly. We opted to walk to and from the city centre even though the hill is quite steep!!
Cons: There wasn’t anything I could say I didn’t like. The only comment I could make is that, as I don’t drink tea and coffee, some hot chocolate sachets in the room and at breakfast would have been nice.
