On the shores of Lake Mjøsa just 33 km from Lillehammer and its Olympic Arena and 4 km from the E6 road, Sveastranda Camping offers cottage and apartment accommodation with free WiFi. Wonderful

Pros: The cabin was spacious and perfect for the families - plenty of rooms to relax and feel comfortable. There were lots of activities to keep the kids entertained. It's a great spot for a fun and relaxing family getaway. Highly recommend!!

Great place to break up a journey, with a beautiful Fjord view

Pros: Really nice cabin by Fjord. Great for a quick stop off whilst travelling through Norway. Facilities were good and staff were really helpful on arrival.

Pros: Our apartment was massive! It was beyond what we expected, there's even a dishwasher in there, as well as a microwave and freezer which you don't often find in most accommodation let alone campsites. The kitchen was well kitted out, it was a very spacious apartment in general, we appreciated having a bathroom in the same space and not having to go outside in the middle of the night. We came during warm weather and there is a fan which was helpful. The campsite is over a huge area and there's loads to do for kids and adults, nice views, and very convenient location for us on the drive back to Oslo.

Cons: The WiFi was weak and intermittent, we thought maybe it was just in our apartment block but even on a walk around the campsite it was difficult to connect in many areas. The sofa was not comfortable but I'm speaking while pregnant, which is probably relevant to this part!
