Magic Kloverhuset Harbour Hotel

Pleasant stay

Pros: We had originaly booked a superior room with city view but apparently it had not been assigned, so the staff kindly assigned a room with a great view, which ended up being a room upgrade. Also sound isolation is great, we did not hear any nextdoor neighbors so we could get some good sleep. The hotel is really close to all major tourist spots, so no need to use public transport during the stay. The tram stop is just a few minutes walk away when getting to the hotel from the airport and back. Appreciated the option to rent an umbrella. The staff was really kind to assist with any issues or questions we had.

Cons: The room could have some bigger ceiling lighting as in the evenings it is a bit too dark. The cleaning staff did not replace the ceramic tea cups during cleaning, but we could get some paper cups at the lobby. Also shampoo was not replaced during cleaning so we had to ask the staff at the check in desk. We would appreaciate if next time ghosts would not turn on the bathroom light at midnight :D We really did have one night when the bathroom light suddenly turned on itself at midnight. Regarding the bathroom, the glass divider is a bit too narrow and half the bathroom floor is wet after shower. And there is a gap in between the bathroom door to the room itself, however it is a minor issue. Mind that you have to go through part of the restaurant to get to the elevators.

Amazing central location and clean rooms

Pros: Amazing location and if you get a front facing room you can see the pretty houses over the river. Room was spacious and lovely and clean. Late check out (12pm) and bag storage was a bonus.

Cons: Breakfast could have been better for the price of the room. Couldn’t work out how to switch the fan off completely so was a slight noise during the night.

Good

Pros: Great location, great breakfast, great rooms, comfy beds, clean and tidy.

Cons: The lift zaps you when entering it on the 3rd floor

Outstanding hotel,location and Staff.

Pros: Jasmine and Betty on reception made my day they let me stay 6 hours extra for the tiniest of fee so i wouldnt ger cold waiting for my train such a friendly place.if i quote from the Terminator \

Cons: What an amazing hotel located in the middle of everything. Such a quirky place with amazing rooms with a view of the beauty of Bergen.

Our third time stayed at the apartment, and the second time in the room 7707. It has magical view to the wooden houses,

Pros: The place is centrally located at Bergen harbour, there’s a grocery store just downstairs, and the picturesque view to the wooden houses from our terrace, which was the reason we stayed here again. The staff went out of their way to allocate the room that we requested (7707), which is the room with an amazing view to the harbour. During NYE, we watched the fireworks from the privacy of our room. Truly magical stay.

Overall, it was a good stay; any minor discomfort can be tolerated when the service is this excellen

Pros: We highly appreciated the staff's professionalism and service. They were incredibly accommodating, provided clear explanations, and were always ready to help

Cons: The room had a minor, distracting odor, likely a ventilation issue; however, everything else was superb, and we especially enjoyed being able to cook our own meals right in the room.

Pros: Great Location, central to town and light rail. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.

Convenient and Cozy

Pros: Fantastic location, overlooking boat to fjord tours. 10 to 15 minute maximum walk to train station and less to Bryggen, funicular or museum. Lovely breakfast with hot and cold, sweet and savoury options. Reception friendly and helpful and room was very comfortable. Love the funky decor ❤️

Pros: Loved the room. The beds were comfortable except the sofa bed not so great. The breakfast was really nice, lots of choice.

Cons: Had to wait at reception for quite a while to check-in, think it was a busy time.

Would stay here again.
