Pros: What an amazing stay! It was definitely above expectations. The warm welcome, the beautiful room with the spectacular view, the wellness area and the tasty dinner and breakfast. We are looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful views!

Pros: Located right on the lake with beautiful views and just a 5 min drive from Voss amenities, Elva was perfect. All staff were lovely, the breakfast and dinner were great and the jacuzzi/sauna/lake swimming topped it all off :)

Pros: Absolutely exceptional. Everything was amazing. Recommend doing the sauna and fjord plunge. Food is beyond amazing.

Good experience，but too expensive.

Pros: Breakfast was good just like other hotels we stayed in Norway. The dinner of the restaurant was also very good.The room face the river ，so the view is good（but not as good as the view of Fjord in other Fjord town）.

Cons: The price of the hotel is expensive consider the room is rather basic since there is no table for computer in the room. There was a kettle in the room, but the inner surface was very dirty. We dared not use it.

Good stay

Pros: Good location, really friendly staff, nice design with rooms facing the lake. A nice small boutique hotel. Everything you’d expected from a small run hotel.

Pros: - Lovely views from the rooms over the lake - Impressive modern architecture with unique stilted cabins - Spacious, clean, and well-designed rooms with a cozy Scandinavian feel - Breakfast: limited choice, but something for every taste and every item fresh and delicious - Friendly, helpful staff who make you feel welcome

Cons: - The surroundings are largely agricultural/industrial, lacking scenic charm and offering no pleasant walking routes - No nearby dining options, a car is essential to reach restaurants in Voss - in contrast to the cozy and warm lower floor of the room, the upper floor was rather bare, with not even a side table

Beautiful hotel buildings, in a beautiful location, with a super staff. This place was even pretty in the rain!

Pros: Beautiful structures, lovely location, super accommodating staff/management.

Cons: Small staff, which is totally fine, but that lead to initial dining inflexibility. That said the staff worked around things to help us. So not really a downside!

Stunning hotel, stunning location

Pros: The location is stunning on the banks of the lake, with mountains in the distance. The rooms are designed to make the absolute most of the view. We recieved a really warm, friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms, demonstrations of how things worked was given. The rooms we had were clean, very nicely decorated, scandi-cool and they smelt really nice! The beds were comfy and the showers hot and powerful. We checked in a little later than we had expected and hadn't made a dinner reservation but were assured that the chef would be able to accommodate us. Breakfast was great, not too overwhelming with endless choices, but simple, nicely presented and really tasty. We booked a white water rafting course with Voss Active which is based next door. Had a great day out with them, we were switched to canyoning because of water levels on the river. Everyone made themselves available to explain and reassure as we were nervous about doing it. It was fantastic!

Cons: Nothing, we'd all go back again in a flash!
