Pros: Very nice facilities, friendly and accommodating host who provides lots of tips for travel
Cons: Harder to reach it is outside the city center, so only if you like quiet and peaceful areas near a lake. Also consider that the apartments have a communal kitchen only

nature-surrounded retreat with spacious, well-equipped rooms, friendly hosts
Pros: I was impressed not only by the charm of the location but also by the exceptional hospitality of the owners. Their friendly approach and commitment to ensuring a comfortable stay for guests are truly commendable. The Villa is situated in a picturesque area by the lake, making it an ideal place to relax. The surrounding nature and tranquility are perfect for unwinding, while also offering beautiful views to enjoy. The rooms are spacious, equipped with a TV and a mini-fridge, providing guests with comfort and privacy. Additionally, there are common areas on the fourth floor and the ground floor, allowing for integration and spending time in a pleasant atmosphere.
Cons: The only thing I would change is that breakfast did not include hot food options; otherwise, the breakfast was good, and everyone could find something for themselves.

Pros: Beautiful surroundings and accommodation right by the water, interesting accommodation design, wonderful, helpful and hospitable owners. continental breakfast. Swimming directly from the pier. A nice little extra – a coffee machine available throughout the day, use of a washing machine, a large kitchen and a magnificent dining area for all residents. Elevator throughout the building. From August 2025, a new, easier access road from the Bergen motorway will be open.

One of a kind amazing home
Pros: Amazing home and apartments on the water front.The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We were travelling by bicycles, and although the property was hard to get to ( as far as the ups and downs of the roads were concerned) it was well worth it when we got there. We wished we had booked longer. So peaceful and serene and our room was immaculate.

Pros: Great place. Directly at the fjord, you can jump into the water or hire a boat from the tenants. As we spent several nights, we got a room upgrade, when it was possible.

Amazing villa with spectacular views
Pros: What an amazing property! The room, bathroom and common areas were all immaculate. So much love was put into design and construction of this property. It feels like home away from home. The views are spectacular and it is just the perfect place to relax. Would highly recommend booking your stay here. I want to go back!
Cons: having a sauna would be a nice touch :0)

Tranquil comfortable retreat with an amazing host
Pros: Our stay at the villa was great from start to finish, with a cheerful Frøde picking us up at the airport. The villa is beautifully perched on the side of the fjord looking out onto the historical monumoment of Bull Ole's summer palace. The rooms are super comfortable and warm, plenty of hot water and good wifi. We hired a boat as well to visit the island and to tour around the fjord. Definitely will go back. DIY breakfast was perfect and plentiful
