Best place to stay if you're getting the train and skiing

Pros: Can't beat the location right at the train station and next door to the gondola. Everything was wonderful. Good breakfast. Games being available was a nice touch... Especially Mario Kart

Cons: Expensive restaurant that was not offering half the menu the night we were there (what we did get was still delicious).

Pros: Breakfast was lovely, more options for dinner would never been nice, rather than the only option being the dinner buffet

Cons: Sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable

Great location for skiing.

Pros: Location to gondala was excellent and the breakfast buffet was good quality.

Cons: Full room cleaning was on request so we went for several days without toilet paper etc being topped up. It was available when we asked but we did have to ask.

Great location, nice rooms, tasty breakfast!

Pros: Room and bathroom spacious enough for 2 people. Beds really comfortable. Nice walk in shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. Room also has a fridge. Breakfast is a really excellent spread of hot and cold options. Plenty options of juice and hot drinks too. Staff on the floor during breakfast we're plenty, clearing plates once finished and very polite asking about our day etc. Location is great, right next to the bus station at the front and joined onto the train station at the back, and the gondola to the side. Even with all that around we had no issues with noise from our room on the 3rd floor.

Cons: They don't put kettles in most rooms so unable to make your own hot beverages / use for making cheaper lunches and meals for yourself. They have a payable coffee machine in reception instead, but the quantity and quality is not very good for the price in my opinion. We'd had a long day travelling when we got to the hotel, and once we dropped our bags off we came down to the restaurant to get some food as we were very hungry at about 7pm. It took quite a few minutes for anyone to come over to us at the desk, then the person spent another few minutes attempting to plug a laptop in on their desk, then asked if we had booked a table to which we replied no as we had only just arrived at the hotel, and then she just said there are lots of tickets lined up for the chefs so would be at least 45 minutes to an hour wait for any food, when we looked there was only 2 or 3 tables in the whole restaurant which people were sat at from what we could tell. She just gave us the overall impression that she couldn't really be bothered with us so we chose to leave and eat elsewhere out of the hotel. It just wasn't a great first impression unfortunately so we didn't end up eating our evening meal in the hotel during our 4 night stay. It was a stark contrast from breakfast where everyone was really nice and welcoming.

Fantastic hotel in fantastic location

Pros: Excellent breakfast Excellent location for everything, town, lake, train, bus, gondola

Cons: I would have loved tea/coffee making facilities in the room

Pros: Great breakfast and the Nintendo switch in the lobby was a hit with the kids

A great few days

Pros: Great location for skiing in Voss, comfortable rooms and very quiet despite looking over railway Gym was useful as was the table tennis and the ice shuffleboard with older kids breakfast was great and good to get a discount at the restaurant for dinner Bus station right outside hotel which was also good

Cons: Booked as it had a sauna but unfortunately was broken Could do with a kettle and tea making facilities in the room

Pros: Excellent location, helpful staff during very busy period, great view of lake and delicious breakfast. Storage shelves were very useful for ski stuff.

Cons: Reservation at restaurant was bit tricky due to busy period. Bin is on the smaller side.

Pros: Perfect location, next to the train station and ski gondola. Great breakfast and lovely views of the lake from our room.

Good location, fantastic buffet dinner

Pros: Excellent location right on the rail platform. The buffet dinner was pricey but absolutely worth it. One of the best we've tried. The hotel decor was great and the staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Cons: No carpeted rooms so you can hear people moving around above you. Rooms are not soundproofed. Not enough lifts/elevators to accommodate the number of people in the hotel.
