Pros: Nicely located hotel, clean and cosy room. Has garden and winter/summer lodges. Enough free of charge parking space. The staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is serving dinners, at least, the option was available during our stay. Breakfast is substantial and fresh.

Welcoming and peaceful facility in a beautiful setting with impressive renovations

Pros: Person working at reception was exceptional ... friendly, patient, knowledgeable, informative. Loved the relaxing, welcoming music piped through speakers around the property. Appreciated by the backyard area for people to sit outside and visit or read and appreciated the lounge in the main building where we spent time both evenings playing scrabble. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of food, especially given the size of the lodge and number of guests. Freshly baked bread was excellent.

Cons: Dinner options sounded good. One was a fish stew and the other a vegetarian lasagna. We would have added more seasoning to both dishes and a greater variety of ingredients. Would add a towel to serve as a mat when you step out of the shower.
