Grande Fjord Hotel

The food, the staff, the location, the hotel was awesome.

Pros: The location was amazing, the staff was absolutely great and friendly and professional.

Cons: Only downside was the jacuzzi, the water was very hot and dirty with flies and stuff.

Good dining experience to complete the day.

Pros: Great view and nice ambience at the eating area. Superb breakfast and the dinner 3 course meal is amazing.

Cons: We went during slow season, had to wait >15mins for the reception staff to come.

Pros: I want to especially mention about your staff name KENNETH. He has help me so much in directing me to Mosjøen. His idea is way better than the google map. without his advice, i would not have arrive to Mosjoen in the shortest timing. Next, Kenneth had also helped me to check on oil maintenant for the car, he gave me the assurance that my rented car will be in good conditions, which turns out to be true. thank you Kenneth. -Daniel

Pros: The hotel is located near the famous Ørnevegen.The room face the famous Geirangerfjord and the view from the room is magnificent.Breakfast and dinner is very good. The staff of the restaurant is very considerate.If you make a reservation for dinner ,they will give you a table with a view.The hotel is a four star hotel but the price is the same as some three star hotel in Norway.The quality and the view is better than all the three and four star hotel we stayed in Norway.

Cons: There are some dirty water stains on the wall above the balcony. It would be even more perfect if they could be cleaned up.

Pros: Beautiful location, lovely building and fantastic staff. Restaurant was superb. The separate var was just gorgeous

Cons: Room was great and i am comparing against more expensive hotels when i say the room facilities could have been better. No safe for valuables, but this is more my hang up than a problem. No separate shower, it was in the bath. Heater controls a little basic but again, not actually a problem. All very minor points

Pros: The hotel staff were excellent. They really went out of their way to help us with all our requests. On the day that we were leaving, which was early in the morning, the manager walked out to the roadside with us to make sure we did not miss our bus. This was our most memorable and wonderful part of our journey in Norway. It's the best hotel in terms of hospitality that I have ever experienced. The food at the restaurant and the breakfast was also excellent. Hope to come back here again soon. Thanks for everything, Grande Fjord.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Pros: The hotel staff was very friendly and free upgrade us to a room with the sea view. We like the facilities in the hotel especially the jacuzzi. The hotel also offer the free shuttle between hotel and the town.

Lovely hotel with fantastic views over the fjords

Pros: Lovely hotel with fantastic views over the fjords (our room has been upgraded) with very helpful staff. Hotel is located 2km outside of the Geiranger but free transport to the town centre is provided for the guests. Amazing breakfast with plenty options to choose from. Free take away coffee/tea available at the reception at any time was a great addition too. There is also outside jacuzzi and lovely newly built bar.
