Pros: Friendly staff from the moment we arrived. Stunning hotel that is unique in the area. Excellent bar that can get a bit lively at night (avoid room 311 at weekends if you want an early night!).

Cons: If you're looking for a perfect boutique hotel without any imperfections then this is probably not for you but if you love character and are happy to prioritise something a bit different, with amazing spaces and a great view of the fjord then this is for you 🙂

Pros: Magnificent building Average breakfast in a massive dining space - all to ourselves!!

Cons: Unrestricted Wi-Fi would have made f more relaxed use! Bathroom was somewhat dated - but ok

Schönes altes Hotel

Pros: Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereites Personal. Hütte war etwas dunkel aber mit allem was man braucht für 1 Nacht. Das Hotel ist über 100 Jahre alt und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet mit Antiquitäten

Cons: Die Hütte ist sehr dunkel.

Et opphold som huskes. Lykke til med videre drift

Pros: Et opphold her er nesten en tidsreise – tilbake til en tidsepoke da hotellet sto ferdig i 1914, samme året som 1. verdenskrig brøt ut. Mye av den originale sjarmen er bevart, og man kjenner historien i veggene. Vil man ha Thon eller Scandic-standard, bør man lese seg opp på hva et trehotell fra 1914 faktisk er. Dette er ikke striglet luksus, men en ekte opplevelse – et hotell med sjel.

Cons: Det kan jeg ikke huske.

Pros: L'ambiance de cette maison style manoir anglais digne d'Agatha Christie . La vue depuis la terrasse. Le mobilier, le billard, etc..

Pros: Nydelig gammelt og ærverdig hotell. Betjeningen var svært imøtekommende og gav god service.

Cons: Litt lite utvalg på frokostbuffeten. Savnet også annen kaffe enn traktekaffe☺️

Pros: Ein tolles Vintage Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Aussicht auf den Fjord ist großartig und ruhig ist es auch noch. Das Essen im Restaurant war vorzüglich.

Cons: Es braucht hier und dort wohl mal eine Renovierung, der Vintage Charme hat halt auch Ursachen.

Pros: Läget, omgivning, fantastisk stilfull byggnad med historia både inne och utanför! Mycket stort rum! Mottagandet var trevligt!

Cons: För oss för hårda sängar! Frukosten lite spartansk. Bland annat ingen yogurt…..Tv’ns fjärrkontroll fungerade inte trots batteribyte! Inte invalidvänligt på grund av ingen hiss och rummen ligger i övre våningen!
