Nice !!

Pros: The breakfast is prepared in the plate. If not enough, you can take more as you want. So it's good. The crab salad in the plate is the best !!! You also can take those food on anytime, really appreciate! Room is nice and face to the sea. The town is beautiful and quite. A supermaket is on the front which can provide every thing. My 1st night in the fjord. Nice!

Perfect stay

Pros: The amazing view and the spacious rooms with authentic room decorations and furniture.

Cons: Tip: add hair dryers to the rooms.

Pros: Nice village, nice view to the fjord, big room, bath tube, you could get evening snacks for free from the self service kitchen

Great location, comfortable and welcoming

Pros: The hotel is next to the fast ferry so it is really easy to get here from Stavanger. Monika was very responsive to our messages, and arranged a taxi for us so we could start our ski tour. The hotel is simple and clean and comfortable. The self-service breakfast was excellent and we had everything that we wanted. Sand is a beautiful place, and our room had a lovely view of the fjord.

Pros: 1970-style hotel; not much changed and perfect for a little travel back in time. However, if you don't fancy the 1970s, still good reason for a stay; very welcoming receptionist/ manager and good self-service breakfast. Actually, you are invited to make a sandwich supper free of charge as well, comes in handy as most things are closed in Sand at night. Comfortable room, I got one with a fjord view.
