Pros: Perfect location for exploring the mountains and fjords. Breakfast and dinner buffets were good. Staff were pleasant. Beautiful view of the fjord from the bedroom. Paved footpath outside the hotel running in both directions.

Good stay with good breakfast

Pros: Amazing view from the room. The breakfast was quite good. The bed was comfortable.

Cons: The room was a bit small and there were not so many places to hang your stuff. Both the room and the bathroom were both a bit outdated.

Good stay at a comfortable hotel for visitng theBriksdalsbre glacier

Pros: Excellent breakfasts and dinners. Beautiful location by the fjord. Worth staying 2 nights to visit the glacier at Briksdalsbre. Hotel serves a good buffet dinner and there is a cosy restuarant at the waterfront.

Cons: A kettle in the room would be nice

We really loved the location, catering and staff - go there!

Pros: The dinner and breakfast we had at Olden Fjordhotel were the best in all of our Norway visit - 13 locations. The staff made it the best with their pleasant attidudes and helpfulness - a real asset to the property. The beautiful scenery from rooms and dining area was a big plus.
