It is beautiful in this corner of the world and this is a wonderful hotel to explore that beauty !

Pros: This hotel is everything you hope to find up a mountain! We had a wonderful time, in a place that we feel deserves more stars than are given on google and booking. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, well equipped, clean and had a balcony with lovely view on the mountains and river. The hotel has a small dinercard, everything we tasted was well prepared and tasteful. There is an amazing choice during breakfast and for a small extra amount you can prepare your own packed lunch.

Cons: Nothing, except that we should have booked another night here

Pros: convenient location very close to Nigardsbreen/Styggevatnet glacier entry point, nice dinner and breakfast with wide range of choice (also gluten-free), staff kindness. We got 2 rooms, of which the one at the top floor was a big suite, without any upcharge

Lovely location and great staff

Pros: Great location and a comfortable cottage/ apartment. We had a lovely dinner that was reasonably priced.

Cons: Lack of a toaster and frying pan was a bit past its best

Nice and cosy small hotel

Pros: Very friendly staff. Nice food. Beautiful surroundings and great base point for glacier hikes.

Cons: I had read reviews saying how good the pizza was but I hate to admit that I didn’t like it. The pizza base was too crusty and dry. However, the traditional Norwegian food was delicious

Accommodation near the Jostedal iceberg

Pros: We had very late check in, no issues. Very friendly lady she helped me to adjust plans for entire family at the iceberg. Lovely breakfast with salmon. We had the entire top floor with lovely view to the valley.

Cons: There was nothing like that.

Pros: Compact twin room and good sized ensuite, both very clean... Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast enhanced even more with the option to make up sandwiches to take away with you. Excellent service
