Stunning Fjord Views and a Memorable Stay

Pros: We had a lovely stay at this hotel! The absolute highlight was the breathtaking view of the fjord from our window—truly unforgettable and worth the trip in itself. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff were consistently friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, offering a great variety beyond the traditional options. Alongside eggs, sausages, and beans, they even served IKEA-style meatballs, which added a fun and unexpected touch. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and we highly recommend exploring the nearby hiking trails—it was well worth the effort. Overall, a fantastic experience that we’d happily repeat!

Comfortable hotel in beautiful Eidfjord

Pros: Eidfjord, the lake and falls are all stunningly beautiful. The bed was excellent, so was breakfast.

Cons: While it didn't really bother us, when we were there, massive cruise ships docked right in front of the hotel pretty much around the clock, blocking the view of the fjord. It's a short walk away from the hotel to see the fjord.

Good location

Pros: Very friendly staff. Dinner was very good. Breakfast selection is medium but offers really everything that is needed. Room is clean. Comfy beds. Nice view to the fjord, at least when the cruise ships have left. Private parking spot for free.

Cons: WIFI is sometimes working well but not reliable.

Great hotel with amazing view

Pros: We had a lovely stay at this hotel! The highlight was without a doubt the breathtaking view of the fjord from our window – absolutely unforgettable and worth the trip on its own. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and everything else met or exceeded our expectations.

Cons: The only downside was the bathroom, which felt a bit outdated and would benefit from some renovation to match the overall quality of the hotel. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall positive experience, and we would happily return – especially for that view!
