Can’t recommend highly enough!

Pros: Stunning hotel. Comfy bed. Delicious food. Lovely staff.

Fantastic hotel in a perfect location: excellent value for money.

Pros: Fantastic location near to all attractions. A very comfortable hotel with a beautiful reception area in which to relax. Reception staff were brilliant. The breakfast, evening buffet meal and the afternoon tea/coffee/hot chocolate and sweet treats made the stay exceptionally good value and all were delicious. The hotel’s dome could be accessed with a card key from reception, giving great views of Bergen. Highly recommend.

Cons: Nothing to dislike but a smart tv would have been appreciated to cast iPhone.

Excellent value and comfy hotel in prime Bryggen location

Pros: Great location, nice decor, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and unusual bonus of a ‘light supper’ being available meaning you could eat a decent dinner in the hotel for free (which a large number of guests chose to do)

Cons: Although I agree with not changing towels when guests stay for a few days, it was disappointing that our bed was not made each day and the room given a quick clean

Lovely hotel in historic Bryggen

Pros: Lovely hotel, really well situated in the historic area of Bryggen. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety of options. There was afternoon “fika” every day and then a light dinner each night. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bergen!

Cons: Limited options for dinner, especially as a family staying with a young child. I think there should be at least one child-friendly option for dinner each day.

Lovely hotel in a great location

Pros: Location, high quality fixtures and fittings, good breakfast, comfy bed, complimentary daily afternoon fika.

Cons: We were sad that the reception/lounge/staircase area were being decorated while we stayed and we weren’t notified at the time of booking. The majority of chairs /coffee tables were stacked up out of use.

Pros: Nice location and good breakfast buffet, with gluten-free products. The beds were comfortable.

Cons: The reception desk was mostly manned by just one person and they also had to serve the bar...so there were long waiting times sometimes. More staff would be good.

Would definitely stay here again - was wonderful.

Pros: Very comfy bed. Excellent meals - with the added bonus of the afternoon tea. Warm and comfortable. Excellent location..

Pros: Great location, lovely building and very friendly, helpful staff. We loved going up to the tower to look out over Bergen. We enjoyed that breakfast, Fika and dinner were included with the price - great value for the location. Breakfast in particular was excellent.

Cons: Room was a bit too small, we found it tricky to get dressed easily as there weren't good storage options so bags were on the floor.

Historic hotel in a wonderful location with meals included!

Pros: Great location at Bryggen - so easy to explore Bergen from here. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed the lounge area. The included meals were excellent - breakfast and dinner were good quality and very tasty, providing a great option for us to explore all day and relax in the evenings. The staff were all friendly and very helpful.

Cons: To be really picky - there was fairly limited space on the bathroom bench!
