Great small central hotel

Pros: Central, quiet position. Helpful staff Small hotel

Cons: Bit of a steep climb from the Hurtigruten terminal, especially if hauling luggage. No lifts so lugging heavy suitcases up two spiral staircases is difficult

Pros: Amazing location, good size, super helpful staff, very clean and functional, Chromecast TV

Cons: More vegan options at breakfast would be nice such as hummus, vegan Joghurt, vegan cheese, margerine (there were bread, jam, cereal, falafel, some fruit and veg, and oat milk) In Norwegian winter shoes get very dirty/wet, would be nice to have a shoe rack or something in the room + a bit more space to hang up clothes

Fantastic, no frills, comfortable hotel with friendly staff

Pros: The hotel is in an excellent position to visit the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Perfect for storing luggage before our coastal voyage trip

Cons: It's a steep climb from the ferry terminal but, because the hotel is nearby, the taxi fare is comparatively low and worth the money

Nice stay in Bergen

Pros: Everyone was very friendly. We got some complimentary coffe and tea in the room, it was nice. There was also an extra pillow if needed, i used it. They gave free waffel+tea/coffee every afternoon, such a good idea. The location is also good, but its at the top of the hill, so if you are pregnant like me, it might be a bit hard to get up there. I recommend this place.*****

Cons: The breakfast is very poor. Some scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, different kind of plain bread would be nice. Something sweet perhaps? Waffels should also be available at breakfast, everyone would love it!

Quiet, relaxed and comfortable hotel in a quiet area.

Pros: Helpful and friendly staff, comfortable room, good location away from the centre but close enough to walk in ten minutes. Breakfast was a great choice of foods, including smoked whale which is delicious. I was impressed with the place and would definitely go back, Bergen is well worth a visit.

Nice place to stay

Pros: Location excellent. Easy walking to places, pretty area and quiet. Breakfast excellent.

Cons: Cooking smells in room daily at 7.30am. No bar.

Very nice

Pros: I really liked the hotel and the very kind staff working there. I enjoyed the reach breakfast, the coffee/chocolate and the waffle in the afternoon. Clean room and quiet as I wanted. Very close to the center and walking distance to most sites of the city. I liked that I could leave my things after check out.

Cons: The room was rather small. The shower was one with the floor so the bathroom was like a lake after showering there was a separator but wasn't enough. They need to invest in a shower cabin. They had a TV that didn't work you could download an app with local TV channels and cast it to the TV in the room.

Staff were great, would recommend

Pros: Coffee machine and hot chocolate available They offer a large waffle between 5-8pm which was added bonus Great location , turn right and keep walking straight to main town centre

Cons: No lift although staff carried my bag up and down so not a problem. It was a charming old building

Exceptional

Pros: Lovely helpful stuff and mouth watering breakfast! Room has everything you need for a short stay (for a long - maybe you’d prefer a bit more space, but for me was what I needed).

Cons: I stayed there twice, and the second time it was quite loud outside of the property (the 2nd floor), couldn’t sleep well. On the 3rd floor the experience was wonderful.

Pros: The location is fantastic, the breakfast was amazing on a par if not better than many over the larger hotels

Cons: I arrived very late , tired , and cold and the heating was not on in my room which was not good. A little more attention to comfort in the room would be appreciated, better lighting, accessible plugs for charging, more pillows and a thicker duvet at least
