Dombås Hostel

I recommend this motel, even for a longer stay.

Pros: Good location. Spacious parking. Well-equipped communal kitchen. Large, cosy room with walls made of exposed real wooden logs. Friendly and helpful staff.

Pros: The rooms are really nice and cosy. I love the natural building materials and natural feeling of them.

Comfortabel basic stay in dombas.

Pros: A Nice and quiet place to stay outside the center of Dombas, excellent service, everything very clean, the kitchen.

Cons: No washing machine available

Neat and clean with kind staff and on the road to/from Geiranger

Pros: The kind staff, it was neat and clean, wardrobe for clothes in the room, the breakfast was nice, free coffee/tea and cold water, the location is literally right on the road from Eidsdal to Geiranger or Geiranger to trollstigen.

Cons: Only that some of the shared toilets are a bit small. All other things were good.

Pros: Staff was really helpful not only with my stay but informing me of the hiking area

Great stay.

Pros: Great rustic hostel and location. Had the dorm to ourselves which was a bonus. Good cooking facilities which we used to cook a meal in the evening. We paid for breakfast at the main hostel which was lovely.

Cons: Took a while to find and reception was at the main building which we didn’t realise and had to go and ask. Also got caught out as needed to hire bedding which was expensive. A little more information on all of this would have been helpful.

Pros: Accommodation was very nice. Good shower and nice area.

Pros: nice rural place high up on the slope of the mountain above the village, with spacious apartment like rooms with a big bathroom and cosy sitting area

Cons: we could hear the room next door conversations and there’s a lot of cars outside when fully booked

Nice stay in the top of Dombås in a basic but nice wood hostel

Pros: Very nice spot above the center of Dombås and close to hiking trails in the Mountain. Cheap enough for the facilities it provides, for Norway and for the spot! We have enough space for two in a 4-bed-room and we enjoy the private toilet and shower. Also nice to have the possibilty to cook in the share kitchen and also the possibility to dry clothes and everything in a warm room next to the kitchen.

Cons: The kitchen could be a little small when the hostel is full and everybody wants to use it. Only one fridge. It worked well for us because not a lot of people were there or didn't seem to use it.

Bra sted for noen netters opphold. Umiddelbar til alpinbakke er verdt å nevne. Alt var topp!

Pros: Rolig overnattingssted med vennlig personale. Flott frokost og rommet var stort og bra.

Cons: TV'en på rommet tok ikke alltid inn signaler,men finket mesteparten av tiden.
