Basecamp Frich`s Hjerkinn

Pros: It's a good place near the station when travelling by train. People are very kind. The beds are very confortable and the breakfast good. This area is very wild : typical norvegians mountains

Pros: Beautiful surrounding to explore Snohetta and Dovre national park. Comfortable room and good breakfast.

Cons: The self service kitchen poorly equipped - difficult to cook especially if more quests want to use it. Better to be prepared with some instant/quick to prepare options if you need to use it.

Pros: Suitable for a one-night stay if you're passing through the area. The price-quality ratio is good. The breakfast had a very good selection. The service was slow (we had to wait for more pancakes, eggs, and bread), but everything was fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. The showers on the ground floor were renovated and clean.

Pros: Nice structure of the hotel giving a cozy and comfortable vibe, very chill, no city noises just some sheep roaming around, lovely being in the middle of nature. There is a common fridge for guests which was very useful.

Cons: We arrived and there is no reception because they are closed from 10-15, but finally someone appeared and we got to leave our stuff until check in. Also breakfast on the second day had some not so fresh fruit and cold eggs.

Pros: Breakfast was amazing, varied choice and fresh bread, cheese, fruits and hot food as well. Coffee was good to even though it was from a machine!

Cons: Dinner choices - we would have liked a couple of vegetarian options.

Pros: Very convenient for railway station. Good breakfast, and satisfactory evening meal. Good location for walking.

Pros: We liked the clean, spacious rooms and the comfy beds. Also the shared bathroom facilities are great, more than enough, and super clean. Breakfast was very extensive and delicious: bread, eggs, yoghurt, cereals,pancakes, fruit, cheese, meet, fish and some local specialties. Staff is super helpful and friendly. And the location is great, close to the trails to explore the area. Totally recommended, we would definitely stay here again!

Good value for money

Pros: Good value for money. Beds and mattresses were good. Convenient location near the road. Good breakfast for this price range.

Cons: The room seems to have been renovated, but not the toilets (private toilet would have been great, but ok, this is a low budget stay). Upper beds did not have lamps. Some hooks in the room would have been helpful.

Comfortablemountain motel

Pros: The location is really special and it has a very good value for money.

Cons: The toilets and bathrooms were a bit far from the bedroom, but the place was heated so it was ok. Unfortunately I went there and the restaurant was closed.

Pros: Bathroom was amazing and the room itself was simple but clean. Management and staff were really helpful and even went the extra mile to pick me up when I got lost. Definitely worth the price I paid
