Highly recommended

Pros: Amazing location and scenery Breakfast was decent, dinner was good beyond expectations Very polite and friendly staff

Cons: The room was absolutely basic. You are more than compensated with the scenery, though.

Pros: Nice and quiet place in the hills, away from traffic. The rooms are minimal, but clean. Staff was very nice.

Pros: The hotel is located in a beautiful landscape, surrounded by fields and forests and close to the river. An ideal base for rafting. The room is basic, but tastefully decorated. Good breakfast and friendly staff who went out of their way to serve us a delicious ice cream on a hot day long after dinner hours. Thank you!

Cons: Small things really...make sure to reserve ahead if you want dinner, and if you're a vegetarian, let them know in advance too. The only soap dispenser in the room was near the sink. So, if you take a shower, be sure to take some soap with you...

Pros: Beautiful location. The main building is over 200 years old, and the breakfast in the old dining room is exceptional.

Pros: The location was very good, there were no disturbances and complete peace around the property. All the amenities were available and kitchen and living area was great to relax. Good for even kids to come and play, ample space in the shared places.

Cons: The nearest town is 15 mins away, so not much available late night nearby the stay.

Adventures could abound

Pros: Great meet and greet, lovely room and complex, nice to be able to use kitchen facilities.

Cons: Just the school children that turned up later after we went to bed, extremely noisy and running up and down corridors slamming doors and shouting, eventually went silent at 11 pm. Otherwise it was great to stay here.
