Pros: Friendly staff, beautiful location. Great beds in the cabin!

Pros: Really nice and well prepared cabins next to the fiord. Pretty views directly from the bed! Place really calm to relax.

Cons: Showers not available in the cabins and need to rent bed linen (it is clear when you book them but the bed linen should be included in the cabins price).

Best price-value rate, amazing view from house!

Pros: Very calm, small camping. Not in a hyped place, but easy to reach them, so well-located. Price-value was amazing. The house is as on the pictures. The restrooms, and bathrooms were very clean, bathrooms were big.

Cons: The common kitchen is very well equipped but maybe could be bigger if more people would use it. It does not seem a common case, but no other observations.

We will definitely come back!

Pros: It's been second year in a row that we have decided to stay at Fugelvågen for couple days during our Norwegian roadtrip. The camping is located in a calm and beautiful place, just by the water. It's not a big place, even though it can get crowded with RVs on the peninsula during a weekend (but I cannot blame anyone for staying here!). We stayed in cabin number 4 this year and it was really nice and comfortable stay. The cabin is furnished in a moder style and has a right size for a family of 3. Decent fridge, well equipped kitchen including an oven(!) and double bed oriented towards the window, which makes the mornings absolutely amazing due to the view from the window. And of course watching sunsets from the porch/terrace makes this place quite special.

Cons: There are two things that could be improved: 1. Curtains are rather thin and given that summer has very bright nights, they are not really enough when one stays with children or is sensitive to light themself. We travel with our own set of darkening curtains and had to use them. 2. The shower situation also could be better. As far as I know it's not uncommon in Norway to pay for a shower (and great that we could buy coins with bank card at the reception), however out of 6 different campings - this is the only one where we had to pay.

Modern & cozy cabin right by the fjord

Pros: • Great location right by the water • Beautiful sunsets and watching the tides go in and out • The cabin was spacious and had a great kitchen to cook in • Location was perfect for going on amazing hikes throughout the days

Cons: • The reception was not immediately found as the sign was a little hidden and when arriving that big black building felt obvious to be a reception, but it wasn't ^^ • The cabin was not really clean when we arrived. The sun was shining in and showed a lot of dust on the floor, but it wasn't too bad.

Going back to basics in a very stylish way

Pros: The comfort of the Arctic Dome and it’s view, overlooking the fjord. The woodburner inside the dome was a bonus and made it feel very cosy.

Great stay. Highly recommended.

Pros: The cabins are located right on the shore of the lake. The view is magical. Everything is very clean and very beautiful. The beds and mattresses are very comfortable. The cabin is equipped with everything you need. The host, Thor, is a special person who really cares that we feel the best possible. I have never met such an exemplary host. Highly recommended.

Fantastic and fully renovated cabins!

Pros: Very nice and cozy, fully renovated, wooden cabin located right next to the fjord. Idyllic view of the fjord and mountains surrounding the camping area. The owner was friendly and very helpful! The shared facilities were nice and clean. We had a fantastic stay!

Got what we wanted - quiet stay by water and near walks

Pros: location was good, cabin was modern and reasonably well equipped. Nice sunsets. Good walks in area

Cons: Some info in cabin, about walks, nearest shop etc would have been nice. Some storage for bags or clothes would be good as well.

Pros: Absolutely amazing 2 night stay!! We stayed in a cabin overlooking the beautiful Ålvundfjorden bay! The cabin itself had everything we needed - 2 comfortable beds, 2 stoves/oven, coffee filter machine, table and large decking area and access to a large bbq. There is 2 toilet/shower blocks close by, with powerful hot showers and was really clean, there is also access to a washing machine/tumble dryer. The Owner was so friendly and welcoming, he was always available to help/answer and questions and really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay! We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this campsite, and just wish we had booked longer!!! We loved sitting out on the decking with a cold beer watching the stunning sunset right in the middle of the Fjord!!! Perfect!!!

Cons: NOTHING
