Trollstigen Camping and Gjestegård

Pros: Location was very nice, the cabine was comfortable. Everything very clean and safety.

Cons: I expected to be possible to have a dinner and breakfast and not to be available only for big organised groups. The missing of having something to eat as dinner and breakfast dissapointed us and this is the reason of not offering the maximum for facilities.

Pros: Great location, stunning views. Basic cabin that’s big enough for 4 people and has all the basic necessities.

Cons: The pull-out sofa in the main room is not very comfortable.

Pros: The kid playground !!! After so much time in the car or hiking in the last few days, it was great for my kids to get to play there. We had a room upstairs in the sanitary building. The room itself was very pretty and comfortable, with 4 beds and a terrace with a nice view towards the Trollstingen road. It was quite convenient for the proximity of the toilets and the common kitchen. It is fun as well to be welcome in the camping by a few big troll statues.

Cons: Being in the sanitary building made our room a bit noisy with the doors downstairs being slammed regularly.

Comfy cabin with a great view!

Pros: The view blew us away. Otherwise - Super simple check in, comfortable cabin with everything we needed was there. The communication with the owner was quick and easy.

A great place in the heart of Trollstigen

Pros: Everything worked as expected. Our room was nice, clean and with small but nice balcony with a beautiful view. The location is amazing, right in the heart of Trollstigen with plenty of activities revolving around that attraction! There are some trolls at the entrance of the camping which makes it fun for kids. They have a nice, big hall where there is a restaurant and tourist/souvenir shop

Cons: As I said, everything worked out fine but the breakfast was something which I wouldn't recommend. It was far too expensive for what we got. We expected a regular, continental buffet while it worked more like a restaurant. We sat and were brought something and could not choose what. It worked ok for us and the kids but in general I expected more given its price and the fact that it is labelled as \

Pros: The location is beautiful situated between the mountains. The cabins are cosy with heating and a small kitchenette.

Cons: We stayed in the offseason, some of the bathrooms were locked and the hot water didn’t work.

Very good , price worthy.

Pros: Everything. Very cozy cottage with all facilities. I am gonna live there again. The view, the place. Our expectations was 0 but got 10. We all were happy.

Pros: The best views from the cabin, drawing us in for incredible trails. I particularly loved finding ourselves crossing the river to stroll around moss filled rain forest. Fabio and the staff were a great mix of friendly and grounded... Genuine!

Cons: Not having time on this trip to stay longer.

Lovely location, small cosy chalet but a few improvements would make it even better.

Pros: The location was amazing, with the views all around the site. Lack of TV in the room is actually nice since it encourages you to be outside and visit the surrounding area.

Cons: The extra sofa bed is not the comfiest bed. Underneath the bed in the separate bedroom there was a lot of dust so it wasnt cleaned before we entered the chalet. Chalet fits 5 people but there was only chairs for 4 at the table so we had to take another one from outside.

Pros: Good accommodation, nice location. Definitely come back.
