Final cleaning can be booked on arrival for NOK 400,- The cabin needs to be cleaned before you leave. Either you can do this yourself, or we can do the cleaning for NOK 400,- If the cleaning is not up to standard there will be and extra fee. Leave the cabing as you found it. You will find cleaning-equipment in the cabin, if you wish to clean the cabin yourself.

Helpful staff and self sufficient cabin.

Pros: The cabins were located in the middle of a valley, which is very picturesque. For a small cabin, it is very well equipped with the basic amenities and also kitchen utilities to be able to cook a meal for the whole cabin. The staff had sent several messages to prealert on the weather conditions and potential road closure so we had plenty time to plan our drive to this location which is very helpful!

Cons: The roads leading to the cabin is quite a drive and because of the location may close when there is bad weather. So you need to be careful driving on the road and check on the road conditions before starting your drive so that you can plan ahead.

Comfortable cabin, great location, friendly staff

Pros: The staff at the campsite were lovely - very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious. It is in a great location just above the village of Geiranger but close enough to walk to the centre. We were able to self cater for our stay which is what we wanted - there are only 2 hob rings and a small oven but it is enough if you plan right and there was enough cutlery and crockery provided. We needed to do some laundry while we were there and there is a washing machine and dryer available for use - staff very helpful in getting this sorted. We knew when we booked that this was a basic camping cabin but it exceeded our expectations for comfort.

Cons: We paid for the linen pack but it didn’t include towels. Didn’t matter as we had 2 with us - but just as a warning for future guests you need your own towels!

Cosy, comfortable cottage on a great location

Pros: We had a cosy, comfortable, well maintained and clean cottage with a beautiful view on the Geirangerfjord. The Vinje camping is nicely situated, close to the Geirangerfjord, the village of Geiranger and several waterfalls. The camping has a nice and varied layout. There is a small store at the reception desk, where the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Cons: A bit expensive… The shower curtain does not match the class of the cottage.

Pros: Amazing location with stunning views over Gerainger and the fjord. Loads of space in the cabin. Good toilet facilities. Good walks to waterfalls from door.

Cons: Had to hire bedding at extra cost. And remember cleaning fee unless you do it yourself.

Great place! Second time visiting, and probably not the last time.

Pros: Cozy and green camping area with amazing views. Nice cottages with terraces facing the fjord with great views and long afternoon sun (weather dependent of course :) ). The Geiranger area is fantastic and Vinje camping is a good base for exploring. The inflatable bouncing pillow is a hit with the kids. The staff were nice and helpful, also in answering our questions before arrival.

Pros: Amazing view in gorgeous cabin. Comfortable and roomy with good small kitchen to prepare food, lovely balcony to enjoy view & sounds of the nearby waterfall.
