Pros: Excellent, spacious and very clean budget accommodation if you are happy with shared facilities

Cons: Shared Kitchen facilities a bit limited, but the cafe/restaurant next door is great and good value (NB: closes at 6pm)

Cosy and quiet, suits me well.

Pros: Location to train, bus station and the start of hike just opposite. Kitchen and dining room very cosy, bathroom is clean and always available during my stay. I met 2 hosts, both nice and helpful! I left my luggage there for 2 days and they didn’t object any all. Superb host.

Cons: Please install at least a hook and a rack in the shower room. Kitchen sink way too small. 3 storeys high and No lift.

I find this stay cosy and comfortable. Host is available if you buzz the bell, very quiet and peaceful during my stay.

Cons: Everything seems very antique and old. the room bed site both lamps are not working, doesn’t really matter for me. bathroom Should have a hook and some racks. No space to put toiletries. Kitchen sink is way too small!

For that price, it's a good place to live. Also a nice summer veranda.

Pros: The location is very convenient. The linen in the room was clean and fresh, the design of the room was very nice.

Cons: The third floor had the smell of time and the communal toilet had a strange odour.

Homey feel and great base to explore Andalsnes

Pros: Extremely friendly and helpful family. Great vibe and atmosphere in the house. Great location, walking distance to hiking trails, city, and harbour. It is a great base for exploring Andalsnes area.

Value for money

Pros: The location is very good and value for money. Just keep in mind it is a hostel. There is a nice kitchen and living room on the top floor which we did not know at the beginning.

Pros: Amazing location, easily reachable by train and close to hikes start and nature. I stayed in the caravan in the garden and it was overall nice, but I wouldn't recommend it for more than 1 person. The house was very clean and the owners and the host were always available and very kind. I have a very nice memory of my stay!

Cons: The kitchen could be better equipped. It was a bit cold and humid at night in the caravan but the host was very nice and gave me additional duvet and a heating fan.

A night in Andalsnes

Pros: The self check in procedure allowed us to be flexible with our timetable. The room was clean and provided with a sink for the basic necessities. The cafe just outside offered a nice breakfast at an affordable price.

Cons: Our room had a door in communication with the nearby cafe. The door was blocked, but it made the room a bit noisy in the morning. However, perfect stay for a night.

The little camper positively improved our mood

Pros: My height of 1.91 cm turned out to be a little too tall for a 1960s campervan, although I slept well, as in my youth. Excellent, positive and supportive staff. Good location and could have a coffee and cake in the hosts' cafe in the morning.
