Good stay nice hotel just cost didn’t reflect standard expected

nice hotel in a nice location

Pros: Located on the water front in a nice quiet neighborhood facing the whole fiord. We had a business deluxe room which we liked very much due to spacy nicely designed room with windows looking to two different sides of the fiord. the A La Cart in house restaurant was quite good. The airport is only 15 minutes away.

Lovely hotel stay

Pros: The breakfast was amazing. The rooms were beautifully decorated. Check in was smooth.

Cons: Hot water in taps could be boiling. The kettles which have to be unplugged to move - quite dangerous!

Nice hotel in a good location, right near the free ferry and also near to a lovely restaurant

Pros: Staff were brilliant, we had a problem with room and were moved straight away. Location is good with plenty of parking

Cons: More local info would be useful.

Eight out of Thon

Pros: Very comfortable with great amenities and the staff were super friendly.

Cons: 15 minute walk to the nearest restaurants other than the one in the hotel.

Well positioned comfortable hotel.

Pros: Beds SO comfortable. Staff all great. A really good position, walkable into town but near the harbour ferry (day time only mid May). Breakfast very good. Free parking. Steps into fjord and sauna just outside if you fancy a dip. We didn’t - mid May.

Cons: Room with a view spoiled by scaffolding in front of it. Not a complaint - some work obviously had to be done - but a minor inconvenience for us.

Best Thon we’ve stayed at so far.

Pros: Great staff, good food, good size comfortable room.

Cons: Just slightly out of city centre, however there is a water taxi next door to take you into the centre of town.

Lovely hotel

Pros: Attractuvely decorated reception and restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Compact but comfy bedroom with view across the bay, and all spotlessly clean.
