Pros: Extremely nice place from which to go to Besseggen and other trips in the area. The rooms were roomy, very clean and the hoot was delicious

Cons: There were problems with the electric car chargers, but that was the responsibility of the company Charge365, not the hotel!

Best to stay when you hike Besseggen

Pros: Wonderful location, no doubt! Parking of the hiking route is only 5 mins by car. The apartment is spacious, with view on the lake. The Staff is smiling, friendly and supportive. All was good!

Cons: Tiny things we missed only: caps for the dishwasher and soap from the basin.

Comfy and spacious stay close to the Besseggen ridge

Pros: Nice, spacious cabin. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, great location not just for the Besseggen ridge but also for more hikes in the area with way fewer people (e.g. Memurudalen). We treated ourselves to a dinner on buffet night which can only be called orgiastic! Good info folders about the area in the cabin and from the friendly staff. It’s advisable to do your groceries in a regular supermarket on the way if you want to cook yourself, since there’s only one tiny, horribly overpriced Coop shop on the way from Lom, and nothing else in the area in terms of shops (except for a little kiosk on a camping site 10 driving minutes north of the accommodation, which saved us for coffee and bread).

Cons: Not a problem, but you have to clean the place yourself before leaving, or pay an insane cleaning fee. Also good to know there’s nothing in the cabin in terms of cooking essentials like oil, salt etc. Sheet rental costs extra.

Great location with great food.

Pros: The appearance of the property and atmosphere inside was what I would expect in the mountains. Rooms were comfortable, decor was nice. The evening meal was amazing, well worth the price. A buffet consisting of a large selection of local produce was such as deer, elk, lamb, trout, cheeses, salads, and these were only the starters. Breakfast was also substantial with a wide choice of food available. It was also possible to make a packed lunch to take away for the trip ahead.

Cons: Everything was fine.

Pros: Outstanding oasis in the middle of beautiful scenery. Sadly we only got to spend one night there. Excellent 3 course meal. Comfornatble and brilliantly located for the views and walking in the parkland area.
