Wonderful place.

Pros: This is a wonderful place. Just off the road between the trees. Communication with the owner (Danielle, she and het husband are Dutch and run the Lodge) was excellent. Upon arrival they were there to welcome us. We were there for just one night traveling from Oslo to Geiranger. The Lodge is more a luxury B&B than a hotel. Danielle and Dennis take care of the Lodge, the rooms and the breakfast. This is all done in with a lot of care and attention. Breakfast was excellent and you can literally have it any way you like by ordering everything you can wish for the night before. The restaurant (in the same building) is run by another couple and they do a very good job. The dinner was excellent and the service meticulously. We would definitely come again.

Cons: The wifi signal in the room was very weak. In the restaurant/downstairs it was fine.

Charming place in the middle of nature, with gracious hosts

Pros: I arrived later than expected, and they accomodated me with a perfect dinner. The owners are extremely nice and the place is beautiful!

Worth it.

Pros: First of all - it's very designed place. From the parking place to restaurant - all of this countryside looking wooden paradise gives you that feeling of Old Good North. Not far-away-very-cold-north, but another one - natural, wooden and cozy place. It's a bit of mountain guest house style. But this particular one house much more hotel-style place. Everything new, clean. Stylish. Very nice restaurant.

Marvelous

Pros: We stayed at the Dutch room. It was so nicely decorated in Dutch style, and we love it. We arrived at the hotel a bit late in the evening and we didn't make a reservation for dinner. The chef, however, managed to fix it, and we could enjoy a delicious 3 course dinner. In addition, the breakfast is very good too. All the staff and the owner are very nice and helpful. We enjoyed a pleasant stay. Highly recommend.
