Located right at the edge, 1002 meters above sea level, is Skarsnuten Hotel. The hotel has a panoramic view of Hemsedal and with Hemsedal ski center as the nearest neighbor. Hemsedal city center is just a 10-minute drive away. All our guest rooms are bright with a modern design. Common to all rooms is a private bathroom with a shower or bathtub, free Wi-Fi, a coffee machine, and a flat-screen TV. À la carte lunch and dinner is served in the hotel restaurant, and you can enjoy the breakfast buffet every morning. There is plenty of seating around the venue, which gives a private and cozy atmosphere. The bar is next to the restaurant. Both the restaurant and the bar have a fantastic view of Hemsedal. In our SPA you can relax and enjoy the fantastic view. Whether you choose one of the saunas, footbaths, adventure showers, jacuzzis, or ice baths, we guarantee relaxed shoulders and replenishment of energy. We will also recommend you choose one of our personalized spa treatments. We have a age limit of 10 years old at our morning spa and 16 years old the other times. Whether you like lazy days in the sun, long walks in the mountains, or something in between, Hemsedal is the place to be. Every season is different, and no day is the same. There is a variety of activities to choose from. Hiking, biking, and skiing are possible from the hotel door, and the 18-hole golf course at Hemsedal Golf Club is a 20-minute drive away. Pros: The suite was beautiful. We were very well taken care of by the staff.

Cons: Not having slippers in the room anymore and they were empty of robes. The food is not very good, so we went to another hotel to eat. The lunch menu has room for improvement and the dinner was cold and very bad last time we were here so we just skipped it as the lunch was also bad this time

Pros: Vert friendly staff and atmosphere, high quality food, spacious rooms, nice lounge areas and the best view in Hemsedal.

Cons: Random cleaning of rooms, lack of attention from cleaning staff.

Amazing stay! Would definitely return

Pros: Amazing location, amazing facilities and welcoming and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable with an amazing view and the available products (shampoo, etc) were a treat! We also had dinner at the restaurant which was divine

Pros: We liked everything - very nicely decorated spotlessly clean room, amazing facilities, tasty food at the restaurant, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. Did not want to leave, would definitely come back again.

Lovely hotel with good walks near

Pros: The location, the room and the actual building are lovely, really recommend it

Cons: The service in the bar and restaurant was poor, unfriendly team and lacked organisation and customer service

Pros: Everything, this hotel is top notch. The rooms are a dream, the views are magnificent and the reading nook in the window that our room had was so cozy and cute!

Nice hotel with a good spa and gym offer

Pros: Rooms had a high standard and the food in the restaurant was good.

Cons: The halls had the hotels own music playing late in the night, this felt very annoying when trying to sleep. Restaurant waitress spoke loudly behind other guests’ back which felt very awkward to listen to.
