Classic Norwegian style and elegance with wonderful staff.

Pros: Staff were so obliging compared to all other Norwegian hotels we had stayed at. The hotel was beautiful and beautifully appointed the food ( evening meal and breakfast really good) the room quiet and comfortable. Art work was good, to more than interesting ,furnishing authentic .Whats not to like?

Cons: I genuinely can’t think of anything for me ,maybe some would miss a tv but I was fine it’s just not that kind of hotel. Just enjoy slipping back a century in terms of feeling.

Nice stay in a historic building surrounded by historic

Pros: Perfect location Delicious dinner, little expensive, but worth every penny 😀 Enough parking space. Coffee machine is placed in the corridor, free of charge.

A beautiful place to stay..... well worth the effort!

Pros: A beautiful hotel in a quiet area, close to the important tourist sites in the area. Beautifully decorated and furnished, providing a fantastic food offer at dinner. An impressively high standard of customer service from a family run establishment. Highly recommended.

Cons: If you are on a motorcycle make sure you take a 'puck' for the sidestand as the car park is soft chippings/gravel! Not a major issue....

Very beautiful, stylish and remote hotel

Pros: Take the historic road next to the tunnel to reach this beautiful place. Very well kept old building on a remote location. The only noise is the stream in front.

Cons: The vegetarian dinner was OK, but was a bit below the very high standards of the hotel.
