Pros: Hotel has been recently refurbished. Very comfortable room, lovely staff. Breakfast was the best we had during our fortnight in Norway.

Cons: Road outside quite close, a bit of road noise.

Absolutely great

Pros: Everything - the house is made with love and as a guest you can feel that love in each corner. Starting from the nice rooms, the great garden which many possibilities to take a seat and relax or read where the staff takes care and bring blankets and so on. Breakfast is made with love too and many things are self- made and the owner keeps care to buy locally. We also recommend having dinner there - unbelievable ! We felt more than warm welcomed and Florian supported which tips for doing something as well as he is seems to be born to explain the history of the house and to keep care of guests.

One of our favorite places to stay in Norway!

Pros: The breakfast was one of the best we had in Norway with very personal service. The table was ready for us with a variety of choices (not a buffet). The atmosphere of the entire property was quiet and relaxing; it felt very homey and welcoming. Finally, the staff was incredible and went out of their way to make sure there were options for my husband with some dietary restrictions. The dinner was excellent and we loved sitting and visiting with people from other parts of the world!

Cons: Our room was very comfortable and clean but also very small. It was a little hard to find space to put our bags and belongings.

Gorgeous house that felt like we were staying with friends.

Pros: Utterly lovely. An old house that has been stylishly modernised to ensure all creature comforts. Delicious breakfast and we also had dinner around a communal table so met some lovely Norwegians. The staff were delightful. I wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely go back.

Cons: Nothing. It was great.

Pros: A fantastic find. Lovely people, such pretty decor and warm feeling. Wonderful 3 course meal in the company of other travellers. Amazing breakfast. Lots of candles and flowers and wooden furniture, loved it. Even slippers to borrow.

Cons: Rooms are a bit small but it didn’t matter.

Warm welcoming atmosphere in a stunning location with delicious food

Pros: It’s in a stunning location and the view over the mountains is amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable . We were late but still they managed to usher us in to dinner. The atmosphere was very convivial and the food was really delicious.

Cons: No complaints

I look forward to my next stay at this hotel it’s just so nice

Pros: Perfect .. Christine and all staff were so welcoming and the dinner and wine were exceptional experience 5 star service .. very rare to find this kind of value for money nowadays
