Very good choice!

Pros: Beautiful, peaceful location, friendly staff, great breakfast, very good price. I'll never forget the morning walks among the lovely houses nearby and the incredible view of the fjord and mountains!

Cons: Bit far from the city centre(30 minutes by bus), but for me that was an advantage actually :)

Pros: It was a nice stay and great value for the money paid. It had all the necessary facilities but all very basic. Staff was nice and overall a nice stay.

Cons: There was no shampoo but there is a supermarket not very far by car.

Pros: The room is small but has a private bathroom and everything is clean enough. Breakfast is simple but totally acceptable — you won’t go hungry. I recommend booking a room that doesn’t face the street: when tourist buses arrive late at night, people wait outside under the windows, which makes it hard to sleep. The staff could consider bringing them inside, for example into the dining area. A good option if you’re visiting Ålesund for 1–2 nights.

Pros: Love the location,cleanliness, and breakfast, which is nice for the price. Amazing staff at counter. Peaceful location and some stunning views from the compound.

Cons: No toiletries and bathrooms are a bit uncomfortable .

Pros: The staff are really nice, friendly and helpful. You can easily find whatever you need for your room and stay. They offer free coffee and tea 24/7. The breakfast is also nice.

fine hotel located somewhat away from the center of town.

Pros: nice room, bed & shower. Good breakfast buffet. Alesund centre is about 16km away. free parking, good wifi.

Cons: due to the hotel being inside an actual school building the room did feel a bit.. clinical . but functionally it was a fine room.

A good overnight stop

Pros: Washing facilities. They were most welcomed. The breakfast was really good and set us up for the day ahead. All in all a good bang for the buck.

Cons: Nothing in particular.
