Pros: Warm , everything worked and was clean. Room for all my winter gear. Well placed for me as had come to go winter fatbiking on either side of Geilo and beyond.

The cabin was like a regular apartment – we didn’t miss anything. The quality of the campsite was really great.

Pros: The cottage was very nice and cozy. We had a cabin with a bathroom, and we were pleasantly surprised by the heated floor. Probably the best accommodation in a campsite I’ve ever experienced.

Cons: I would appreciate it if bed sheets and towels were included in the price of the accommodation and not charged extra.

Pros: Cabin has good kitchen facilities and near grocery stores and gasoline stations, few minutes drive.

Pros: Conveniently close to Geilo city centre. Nice clean bath/toilet facilities.

Cons: The hut was - although charming - very old and worn out. Can’t recommend the red wooden cabin, go for one of the newer ones.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay in the hut.

Pros: The size was as expected for a hut. The equipment was very good.

Cons: The mattresses were unfortunately very saggy and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner (foreign hair).

Cosy, comfortable cottages

Pros: Second stay at the Øen cottages and just as satisfied as the first time. They are clean, well isolated and all appliances we needed were working like they should. Just a 5 min drive to the slopes and convenient stores.

Pros: Location close to the river and town was nice, a small gym was a positive surprise. Lady behind the reception was friendly and let us early check-in because the cottage was ready after cleaning

Cons: Sauna and kitchen facilities are not the newest and not that attractive to use.
