Motel room was simple but bed was very comfortable

Pros: Great location near the water. The studio was comfortable and bright, with a small balcony. Reception staff were helpful and pleasant.

Cons: There could have been a few more pots and pans in the kitchen. No kettle, so boiled water in a pan, which is no hardship.

Great location when you can really enjoy your stay

Pros: The location is great, everything is in place. All the infrastructure like shops and petrol stations are close by. It’s a good place to stay with a camper or to book a house. There’s enough space for parking, and the lake is only a few meters from the house.

Cons: I booked a double bed, but we got two single beds pushed together, which is not the same as one double bed. The kitchen was good, however there was an issue with the hob — it was difficult to use several burners at once, for example to boil water and fry something at the same time, as it didn’t have full power. It would also be good to have a kettle.

Pros: Very good location, nice motel, reasonable price (especially compared to other places near Flam)

Cons: A water kettle in the room would be nice, a small fridge even better (but there is a large shared kitchen with essential equipment). No hooks for towels in the bathroom.

Convenient stay for visiting Flam.

Pros: Very convenient location to Flåm. It’s just at one end of the most beautiful and longest tunnel to Flåm. Big entertaining park for kids. The host is nice. Gave use extra towels for the little kid without charge. We decided to checkout one day early and it’s agreed without any extra fee. Appreciate it!

Cons: The noise isolation of the motel is on the poor side. I constantly hear toilet flushing noise from next door and upstairs. However, I’m a light sleeper and my husband didn’t feel to be bothered by this.
