Nice host, thin walls, but comfortable bed and respectful guests

Pros: Host greeted me and took me to my room. Great location just off the national scenic driving route I was following. I was offered use of a kitchen to cook dinner.

Cons: Traditional thinner walls, could hear guests leave to go down to bathroom. But guests were respectful and quiet.

A good place for relaxation

Pros: It is a quiet place for relaxation and is easy to access by car, close to the road. It is close to the Jolstravatn lake. The shared kitchen and toilet are clean.

Cons: The bed is small.

Pros: I highly recommend this place! Nestled in between mountains, the view is spectacular. Kayak hire is an added bonus. We went kayaking whilst we were there. As it was during a quiet period we had the water to ourselves, so magical! The hosts are so lovely and super helpful too.

Gorgeous place

Pros: We booked one of the cabins overlooking the waterfall and it was one of the most beautiful places we had the pleasure to stay in. The cabin itself was very cozy, clean and comfortable. Running water inside the cabin was a big plus. Wished we stayed longer!

Very nice stay, can recommend!

Pros: The house was very clean, cozy and well equipped. The hostess was very friendly and helpful, she even offered me a ride to the neighbour valley, as I was in Lunde by bus and had trouble getting around in the area without car. This was really great for me!

Beautiful clean cottage in a picturesque location

Pros: The location was beautiful, right beside a waterfall and short walk to the lake

Cons: Sewage smell. Extra costs for bedding, towels, hot tub and sauna use.

Underrated place and worth a longer stay

Pros: Lovely area, wish we had stayed longer and taken part in the activities like boat hire and fishing. Nice to have use of the kitchen and kettle, beautiful view of the lake and fells.

Cons: Would have liked more snacks available but not a big deal

Quiet stay near the glacier.

Pros: The cottage had a great view of the waterfall and glacier. The bathrooms were nice and modern. There are cows on the property.

Cons: Nothing to dislike, the only thing we didn't realise was that the lake was ~2km walk from cottage and the road to get to it was labelled private. This discouraged us from enjoying the water activities on offer. But this was just a bit of a laziness on our part.

Pros: Owner was very friendly on check in and despite behind next to the main road, it was very quiet.

Cons: Nothing in particular. The facilities were simple but as described.
