Svingen Guesthouse - Panoramic Fjord Views in Flåm

Pros: Great location The host is friendly and helpful the shared WC and shower rooms are very clean, which is out of my expectation I can find everything I need in the shared kitchen. The view inside my room is stunning. Overall, staying here makes me feel warm and just like being at home.

This stay was the best part of my trip, 10/10

Pros: Everything! The view from all the principles rooms is just amazing. The owners are lovely, very helpful and it had a very homely vibe. The furnishings are just brilliant, very quirky and retro.

Cons: It’s not a fault and I understand why they don’t, but as with others I would happily have paid to have a breakfast

Pros: Lovely place- house is so full of character, and history, staff very helpful, the view is to die for! I rarely give place 10 out of 10- but this one is definitely 10+

Cons: I found place very warm- which was easily fixed by turning off the radiator

Stopover in Flam to visit the Fiord on way to Bergen

Pros: Really nice hosts made us feel welcome in this Guest House located a short walk from central Flam. This made for a nice peaceful environment where you could sit and enjoy a drink or eat a meal whilst drinking in the view across the water. There was a great restaurant across the road at the Marina but you could also walk back into town if you felt like it. There were plenty of breakout areas so you didn’t feel like you were in top of other guests. We were able to leave our bags whilst we took the ferry to Gundvangen to see the Fiords rather than pay storage down town. Bottom line a great place to stay and enjoy what Flam has to offer.

Cons: We were happy with everything on our stay.

Svingen Guesthouse is Stunning!

Pros: Stunning location with a wonderful balcony and comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy the view. The guest house is cosy and warm and spotlessly clean. There were many beautiful books on Norway to enjoy reading. The bedroom was warm and inviting with a very comfortable bed. Thank you Cathy, for being so welcoming. l felt right at home.

Superb location and well maintained guesthouse

Pros: The whole house was spotlessly clean. Superb location. Close walk to the harbour and nearby supermarket. Fully equipped kitchen and you can cook simple meals since the guesthouse doesn't come with breakfast except for coffee and milk. We made simple breakfast and it was lovely.

Cons: Wish the rooms had attached bathroom but it's not too bad.
