Støl ved Sognefjorden

Pros: What an incredible place. It is very rustic. No power, no flush toilets (there is a composting toilet), but the location and view are incredible. There is a 10 min drive from the farm, and the host drove us in their 4x4. Then there is a 15 minute walk up the mountain through forest, across streams, and through some bog (bring water proof shoes). Once at the top you feel isolated, and alone- much like Norwegian shepards would have felt. There is drinkable fresh water, gas for cooking and a wood stove for heat.There are battery powered candles, plus it stayed light (like dusk) all night - it is at over 62 degrees north. All that you need is there except your own food and clothes. It was a fantastic adventure & I can't recommend it enough.

Pros: L’accueil des propriétaires qui nous ont facilité l’arrivée Le cadre unique coupé du monde avec vue sur le fjord Les balades autour Le chalet très bien l’aménagé pour palier au manque d’électricité et eau courante . Les vaches 🐄

Treba si veci vziať do ruksaku na plecia a určite mať kvalitnú nepremokavú turistickú obuv. K chate nás majiteľ doviezol

Pros: Poloha, samota, čistota, prekrásny výhľad na fjord a hory. Boli sme tam sami a nikoho sme počas pobytu nestretli.

Fin opplevelse av stølslivet var for 100 år siden , men med dagens fasiliteter!

Pros: Utsøkt beliggenhet med panoramautsikt og åpent kulturlandskap. Sjelden mulighet! Godt utgangspunkt for turer i fjellet! Gode fasiliteter selv uten innlagt vann. Lagde god middag her!

Cons: Savnet litt mer beskrivelse av veien fram og avstand og stigning! Kan være krevende tur opp på beina for en del folk!
