Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Beautiful views, lots to do around town, easy shopping, did I mention the beautiful views

Pros: It’s on the fjord, close to the shop, and take a drive up the mountain for a beautiful hike. Amazing.

Cons: There’s nothing not to like, you can be fussy and point out small things but it’s really awesome

Pros: We loved our stay. The bedroom had a view directly on the Fjord, which added to the already magical feel of the room itself (very intentional beautiful decoration). The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, the breakfast delicious & generous; the personnel friendly and attentive.

Quaint Hotel, fabulous location.

Pros: We liked everything, this was a beautiful old quaint hotel in a stunning setting. Great helpful staff and plenty of choice for breakfast. Would highly recommend 😁.

Pros: Great view from our room. Very delicious breakfast. Five minutes walk from ferry wharf and Spar supermarket.

Cons: The breakfast and view wereexcellent (rated 8/10) but the room was less so (7/10) - no coffee/tea making facilities, no glasses, very basic. Towels would not dry in the bathroom. Maybe their apartment would be suitable for a longer stay.
