Great apartment with a beautiful view, but beds can be better!

Pros: The view from the apartment is great! It has a very nice terrace and everything is clean! The living room and the kitchen is well equipped. Very comfortable to enjoy the evening after a day trip in Bergen.

Cons: The beds in both bedroom are not comfortable. The single bed in the single room doesn’t come with a matras top. So you sleep directly on a box spring. It is really quite terrible. However, we solved it with putting two spare quilts on it. So my son can sleep relatively okay. The master bedroom’s bed is also not in its best shape. Every turn you make at night, you can hear the cracking noise of the bed and it is really narrow for 2 person.

Great place to end your stay in Norway, but better laundry service would have made it perfect.

Pros: I loved the location. If you are taking the bus, be prepared to walk up hill for a while because the beautiful house is at the top of a hill. We were walking with two children and our bags, and a kind, Norwegian woman offered us a ride. She lived in the area and we still had trouble finding it. But since you are really close to the airport you can get a taxi for about $40, so we chose that option on our way out to catch our flight. The view was absolutely spectacular! It was a great view of the city, and a breath of fresh air. It was the perfect way to spend our last couple days before we said goodbye to Norway. The kitchen was amazing and great for food preparations. Everything you need for the kitchen is always provided. I recommend purchasing your groceries before leaving Bergen as the grocery stores are not the closest. If you are coming by car, then it doesn’t matter. You can wash and hang dry your clothes!

Cons: There was a problem/misunderstanding with their cleaning service. Once we arrived there was a pile of wet sheets and towels that had been washed but left in a closet, piled on top of a drying rack, and this pile obstructed access to the washing machine. I contacted the owner explaining that this would not be good as the wet sheets would not dry well and cause a mildew smell in his property. He thanked me for telling him and made arrangements to fix it. So I definitely appreciate that the owner was quick to respond to the problem as some of our bedding was damp and the sofa bed in one of the bedrooms had not been made up with fresh bedding. I gave this property a good rating instead of an excellent one because of this. I would have given it an excellent rating if we hadn’t experienced this obstacle. The other thing is that I would have liked having wash cloths for bathing and not just towels and hand towels. I am noticing that this is not a European standard, but I recommend it because some of your visitors would really appreciate them. I recommend to the property owner to maybe go with a different cleaning service, or if they want to clean everything in-house then just don’t rent out the house to a new client the next day. This will give you enough time to get everything washed and dried. Because you really have a top notch place, with a beautiful view, and a good location, and the place was really clean. Better laundry service would have me giving you an excellent rating, and I would easily desire to return to visit again. Thank you again for your attention to our discomfort and timely response to our problem.

Beautiful location and the perfect apartment for your stay in Bergen.

Pros: We loved the location! The layout of the property was very nice.

Cons: The shower drained very slowly and if you didn’t wait for it to drain it could spill out onto the floor.

Pros: Très beau logement bien équipé. Très belle vue panoramique. Bel extérieur avec une grande terrasse. Je le recommande pour tout séjour en famille dans la région de Bergen ; nous étions 2 adultes et 3 enfants.

Pros: What a stunning place!!! The house is new, stylish and smartly designed, it includes everything you can dream of. The view is gorgeous, it is even better than the picture. Even the master bedroom has this breathtaking view! Everything is spotless and new, the house has very good and high quality equipment. I regret, that we stayed there only for one night before our flight home. I would like to stay longer. It is an ideal place for a short and luxury retreat. The terrace is butiful too and good for meditations. But you need a car to get there. I've found plenty of restaurants around, but all of them - with a 5-10 min drive.
