Kyrping Camping offers traditional Norwegian cottages, 15 km from the Langfoss Waterfall. All cottages feature a terrace with views of the Åkra Fjord, a satellite TV and fully equipped kitchen facilities. There is free WiFi in the cabins. Each cottage at Camping Kyrping has wooden interiors and a private bathroom with shower. Kitchen facilities include a stove and fridge. Beautifully located campsite right next to the fjord

Pros: The campsite is beautifully located directly next to the fjord. The view is absolutely stunning, we were even lucky enough to see some small dolphins. The owners are very friendly, loved our day on the water as it is possible to rent a small boat. We would most definitely reccomend.

Pros: We stayed in a great cabin viewing the lake. The campsite is great and the staff is nice and welcoming.

Great campsite

Pros: We stayed in one of the huts and had a great time. The hut was spacious and well equipped for longer stay. The campsite was cosy with great views, we also had a visit from a neighbor cat who made himself at home. Staff was very helpful when we had an emergency during our stay.

Cons: The entrance to upper level of the hut felt a bit unsafe, just a tall ladder without any railing. Location is good for day trips by car, but there isn't really anywhere to go around the campsite (this is of course no fault of theirs, just something to consider).

Pros: Good room, a nice little marina. It is great that you have a little grocery store.

Cons: We were informed on the day of booking, that we will need to pay additionally for the linen and towels. Add it to your price, or make a selection possible. Also, there was a very loud old fridge, which kept us awake, so we had to turn it off for the night. :(

Amazing views

Pros: We stayed in the cottage with the sea view and it’s been amazing experience with a fascinating views. We even saw dolphins from our balcony when having a breakfast. That was a one of a kind experience.

Cons: The bed linens are not included and the bigger bed size is not a standard so you might need to rent them. Also there is no soap in the shower or nor some basic kitchen things like a frying pan and oil or salt and pepper so you would need to bring everything with you.

Pros: Great camping hytte at the fjord, with all necessary comfort and great view

Cons: Restaurant/ shop already closes at 6pm. Too bad when you arrive later.

Nice quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Pros: We had a unit within the main house (owners lived upstairs), the downstairs or ground level was devided into 4 separate units. We had a double bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, shoe rack. A bathroom with excellent shower. A small kitchenette with kettle, coffee maker (filter), 2 ring hob, sink, fridge and plenty of cutlery, dishes pots and pans. Loads of places outside to sit, walk etc.

Cons: The only shame was due to being early in the Season the site restaurant wasn't open as yet but the shop did carry the essentials to enable you to put a meal together. There was a supermarket not all that far away.
