Comfy and warm hotel to explore Trondheim from

Pros: Great location overlooking the river, short walk into centre of Trondheim, the library, and the park at Kristiansten. Less than 10 min walk to the railway station and the bus to the airport went from outside the front door. Very good breakfast comfy and warm room. The staff were always very welcoming.

Cons: The hotel does not have a sauna and the lighting in the breakfast area was too dull. Tea at breakfast needs boiling water, bacon does not all need to be very crispy.

Excellent hotel - great location, great breakfast, comfortable

Pros: Great location. Room was nice. The toiletries smelled amazing. Very nice breakfasts with lots of choice.

Cons: Breakfast room was a bit too noisy - we tried to go at a quiet time but proved difficult.

Comfortable Stay

Pros: Perfect location, quiet rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Cons: Pillows were bad. Drainage of shower is bad. Requested 2 times my room cleaned, which was done only 1 time, the other time I got extra towels only. Not an issue, but also not expected from Scandic.

Cons: We arrived by car. Locating the reception after parking was a challenge.
