Just for the service quality, I’d be happy to go again !!

Pros: Isabella and her team were fantastic. Her attitude towards service is really good. Cooked up a very good vegetarian meal as well ! The property is beautiful and has an old world charm to it.

Cons: The double room was great but the single room was a bit cramped with no place to keep luggage. The charging points were high up on the wall so it was a bit of a challenge to balance the phones !

Small local hotel with history, pleasant staff, highly recommended

Pros: If you’re in the area and want something other than a regular boring hotel room, this is an excellent choice. A hotel with deep history and pleasant and helpful staff. Note that you won’t get a polished room with a television, shiny interior and all the stars, but who really needs that anyway… Highly recommended accommodation for your visit in Høyanger or just passing-by night stay.

Great place, recommended!

Pros: Number one, super service minded personnel, big smiles, always positive, made us feel very welcome even when we arrived just past midnight. Excellent breakfast, and an absolutely adoring hotel, that has kept a lot of interior from it's original 1926 opening. Very easy parking right outside, bautiful location by the river going into the fjord under the steep mountains.

Pros: Second time I stayed at the hotel. Once again I really enjoyed my stay. Very attentive staff makes all the difference. They greet you with the same warmth and closeness family and close friends provide. They make you feel right at home.

Fantastisk

Pros: Veldig imøtekommende ansatte som virkelig la til rette for oss som bodde der. En utmerket helg. Veldig god mat, både frokost og middag. God fleksibilitet for tidspunkt på mat også. Hotellet har den beste beliggenhet og sjarm. Håper med tiden at regler tillater generell TV-visning og eventuelle fotballkamper uten det skal koste hotellnæringen 50-200 000kr. I distriktene blir denne kostnaden en belastning som ikke er verdt risikoen. Kunne vært et fantastisk tilbud. Unntak burde eksistere i distriktene.

Pros: Veldig imøtekommende på hotellet, alle som en. Mange hyggelige rom med god atmosfære. Beliggenheten kan vanskelig bli bedre.

Pros: L'hôtel situé au centre du village. La facilité pour se garer. Le petit déjeuner varié et différent tous les jours. L'hôtel n'a pas changé depuis pratiquement sa création au début du siècle dernier et conserve son ameublement d'origine qui est magnifique.

Cons: Le personnel n'est pas toujours présent, il faut attendre ou le chercher... Un hôtel à besoin d'une gestion rigoureuse et efficace. Ce n'est pas les cas ici. C'est dommage. Reste la salle de bain et son rideau de douche... Tout est inondé après.
