Good comfortable sleep and stay

Pros: Breakfast was good. Comfortable large bed. Lovely to have coffee and cake in the afternoon.

Cons: Room was quite small with a horrible outlook. No coffee making facilities in room. Dinner was not what one would expext of a top quality hotel, Chilli con carne - Really?

A great place to stay serving both breakfast and a buffet dinner

Pros: This hotel is in the centre of the town and easy to find. It has a car park immediately opposite the hotel, which you pay for inside. We loved the extra touches such as the free afternoon tea with cake, the evening buffet dinner and the delicious breakfast. Our room was a twin room of good size and very clean. We received excellent service from the staff throughout.

Cons: None that we can think of.

Historic hotel in central Gjovik.

Pros: Handy location in central Gjovik. Parking close by, though it's an extra charge. Historic hotel with character. The tariff including dinner is particularly good value. Staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a cosy bar.

Cons: No negative features.

Autumn stay in Gjøvik

Pros: Very good location, walking distance to lake. The hotel has paid parking. Very good breakfast. Dinner was included in price but I missed. Free coffee all day in the lobby. Room was small but comfy. Underfloor heating in bathroom was great. Very good wifi. Front desk people were very helpful and attentive.

Cons: Not too much to say. The shower enclosure needed maintenance attention, it was flooding a bit around.
