Good place to stay.

Pros: Cosy room, nice beds. All clean. Staff very kind and helpful.

Cons: One of the 2level beds was not working. And to regulate temperature in the room, there is need to call staff, that is not very conveniently, when you arrive late at night.

Pros: The room is clean and in good condition. The hotel is very beautiful. The breakfast is amazing.

New modern and comfortable hotel, Scandic is always nice to stay in

Pros: + Pretty new building and rooms + Rooms are very clean + There is a gym + There is hot water on the ground floor that one can use to make some tea. + Very good breakfast, matching high standards of breakfasts in scandinavian hotels.

Cons: There is a rather weird climate system: a temperature is set separately for each room, but to adjust it, you need to ask the reception (either personally or via phone): there is no control in the room. That means that, for example, if you in general prefer cool temperature but you want to use the heater to dry some clothes, then you’re doomed, because the heater won’t work until it is lower than the temperature set. At the same time, I have to admit that the climate control and the ventilation seem to work very well: the air felt fresh even though we did not open windows. Weirdly placed things in the bathroom (e.g. the button to flush the toilet is hidden by the toilet seat; the soap dispenser is located inconveniently). Sometimes when I see such things, I understand that neither the designer, nor the architect, nor the constructor, nor the hotel director have never stayed a night in this hotel, and that’s wrong. Such details are not critical at all, and they don't affect my score, but I'm so annoyed when I experience those ;)

Pros: A large, busy hotel that met our expectations, the room was clean and quiet. Reasonable price.

Cons: The staff took my unfinished meal away. Many people at breakfast.

Pros: Comfortable and modern room. Good shower. Great breakfast. They had good parking area for 6 motorcycles and it was free.

Scandic is a good choice for your visit

Pros: The hotel has an excellent location. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was of very high quality. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Pros: The breakfast buffet is very good and provides a wide selection of food

Cons: Would be nice to have a kettle in the room - that would have helped us to prepare the formula for our baby.

Happy first-timers in Hamar

Pros: Good and modern new hotel. Beds were comfy and the basic room category served us well. The breakfast was amazing! Plentiful, beautifully laid out and fresh. The hotel was very clean.

Cons: Parking instructions were a bit poor for a big car. The layout of the lobby and corridors are a bit confusing. A couple extra signs here and there might help? Conclusion: Not bad at all

Pros: It was a quiet, comfortable hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice of quality foods. Good location not far from the railway station, about a 15 minute walk

Cons: Nothing. Would stay there again.
