If you can splurge a little, and you’re in Geilo, just stay here!

Pros: It’s just the best ski hotel ever in terms of location, facilities, breakfast quality. They’ve got a great pool and a bowling alley — and even a golf simulator!

Cons: Problem a bit of a victim of its own success — it was packed, and sometimes quite hard to get the attention of staff.

Beautiful hotel, great food and clean overall, with nice large room (standard double).

Pros: Stunning hotel in a great location, absolutely loved the lobby with its artefacts, beautiful! Staff was helpful and breakfast was plentiful. The pool, slide and jacuzzi was included in the price which we’ve used in the evenings and loved it, the mural of the fairytale on the walls was magical and created a great atmosphere.

Cons: We’ve only stayed for a couple of nights, but on the second day our room was not attended and bathroom could have done with a better clean. Mattress comfortable, however pillows were very soft. No sauna facility included in the hotel rate.

Good hotel we will come back

Pros: The hotel is really huge, the staff is very nice, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was really good. The hotel is located in a quiet area, about 3 minutes outside the ski town

Cons: The fridge in the room had a slightly unpleasant smell. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms, but we slept with the windows open at night

Amazing stay with the best hotel breakfast we’ve had!

Pros: Great location, fab swimming pool and amenities for kids and adults. Bar area amazing

Cons: Room a bit tired but clean and comfortable

Nice for families, good design but needs work now

Pros: Lots of activities to offer for a family. Great pool area with big water slides.

Cons: Needs renovation work, painting, floor sanding, furniture cleaning and partially refurbishing. There is construction going on as they tear down one building.

Great hotel

Pros: Friendly staff, great gym and pool, beautiful location, lots of parking was available

Cons: Coffee choice was rather limited at breakfast if you don't want to pay extra

Great stay for (first-time) skiing families

Pros: Directly next to the skilift/pistes and ski-rental. Great breakfast, lots of indoor entertainment like a pool, bowling and kids playground.

Cons: The room we had was a bit outdated and very dusty.

Fantastic hotel, 10/10 stay

Pros: Everything was 10/10! Fantastic stay and we can't wait to come back next year! The staff are super welcoming, the food is delicious and the amenities are great. The pool is really big and the water slide is a fantastic addition. The bar area is super cosy and a great place to chill with a drink and play some board games. Great location as well.

Cons: The only thing we didn't have was a kettle in the room. Would've been nice to be able to make a hot drink whenever you please rather than having to buy one from the cafe.

Pros: Staff lovely, food very good. Right by slopes. Loved it.
