Perfect mountain retreat

Pros: All the staff were friendly yet professional and made you feel at home. We loved the mountain view & over the moon to get a blue sky morning with a lovely sunrise. Our room was comfy. The communal areas are very authentic for how i would like a mountain retreat to be. The food in the hotel in particular dinner was really nice. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Pros: Pretty much everything, we love this hotel and come back again and again

Cons: We ordered room with a view, but the view was partially blocked by a building in front of the hotel - we were a bit disappointed.

Pros: Extremely comfortable beds, polite resepsjonist, beautiful place close to shops and restaurants. Good parking space, also close to the train station.

Cons: Not a big issue, but there was not a lot to choose from the dinner menu, that's why we chose to eat in the restaurant in the city. The breakfast menu was a ok.

Nice place

Pros: This is our 2nd stay. Its a lovely hotel. Location is perfect. Close to the slopes. Can walk to two nearest slops within 10-15 minutes. Vestlia resort is further away but ski bus stops just outside the hotel, so quite easy to get there. Sauna and steam room - perfect after day skiing. Staff is generally friendly and helpful.

Cons: Just few little things. Was disappointed with breakfast on Monday morning. Some bread and bread rolls were stale.

A lovely stay for a few days of skiing

Pros: Location was great for skiing and town, rooms were a good size, clean and warm Table tennis was great fun for older teens

Cons: minor points - beds were quite narrow water from shower gets everywhere as nothing to stop it going under the glass Would have liked a kettle in the room to make tea and coffee

Short stay in a beautiful town

Pros: The hotel was beautiful. Lovely homely feel, clean and friendly. Our view was breathtaking! Staff were helpful and welcoming.

Super location; one can easily walk to Geiloheisen. Closer to a ‘guest house’ feel but with a full cozy lounge and bar &

Pros: Super cozy, really nice staff working various jobs across the hotel, a nice ‘family-run’ vibe. Nice little basement playroom for small kids. And an excellent waffle maker and batter at breakfast!

Cons: Fitness room wasn’t really functioning.
