A pearl near Bergen

Pros: This hotel is worth to visit absolutely . We decided to spend our holidays near by Bergen but by nature . Here there is fantastic atmosphere , we could sleep very well, because of the Silence around the hotel, we ate very tasty thanks to super restaurant in the hotel . Bed linen and pillows were very clean and comfortable. It’s posible to take at first a car 30 minutes then a ferry to Bergen center about 10-15 minutes . And it’s cheaper than to pay for parking in the centre of Bergen. Breakfast is the best here

Cons: We’d like our room to be cleaned every day but I think it’s posible , but you need to ask

Beautiful location, incredible food

Pros: - The food is absolutely incredible. We had both dinner and breakfast here and I am still thinking about it a week after. I would come back for this alone. - The room was very modern and had a super fluffy bed. - dogs are allowed! Hurray!

Cons: The supplement for staying with your dog is quite high (355NOK) and does not give you anything for the dog (no bowl for example). Also, the dog is not allowed in the restaurant, so this is not ideal. Also good to know: the hotel hosts events, such as weddings, and if this happens to be during your stay you can hear the music from the party in your room quite loudly. We were unexpectedly surprised by this and had a very bad night of sleep. The hotel, however, offered us a suitable compensation when we brought this up. If you are keen on having a good night's rest, however, and don't want to take any chances, I would inquire about any events beforehand.

A very nice, stylish hotel with an amazing bed, a lovely breakfast, and a great view!

Pros: Super cozy beds and a lovely breakfast. Stunning view from the terrace outside and a small beach for swimming. Free parking.

Beautiful gem with fantastic views

Pros: Exceptional location, we decided to pay for the deluxe room with view of the sea - best decision ever. Beautifully renovated, friendliest staff, just serene with spots everywhere in and about the hotel where one could sit and enjoy a drink or a cup of tea - one has access to tea and coffee in the hallway, absolutely charming set-up. We will definitely return.

A true diamond near Bergen that stands out in facilities and staff

Pros: Excellent location. Perfect facilities. One of the most attentive and caring hospitality and staff that I ever experienced, and I travelled all over the World. Ausra, Erika, Anna and the Chef were all exceptional. 10 points is not even enough to rate this place as it deserves more. I also loved and appreciated the attention to detail, like the remembered exactly what we ate at breakfast and served us the things next day remembering the specific needs of each one (of the 4) guests. This place is a diamond and the staff makes it truly outstanding.
