So glad I found this place!

Pros: Ideal location to pack your backpack for a multi day hike in Hardangervidda. If you have a wet tent, you’ll have no problems drying it. Breakfast was splendid!

Cons: The B&B closes in on the 4th of August (summerholiday?), which is a pity.

Pros: Good price. Beautiful location with views of the fjord and mountains. Pleasant garden with hammocks and loungers. Friendly and helpful reception and restaurant staff. Clean, tidy, and a very tasty breakfast. Relatively close to Trolltunga. I recommend staying at the Hardanger Hostel!

Beautiful location, but very little privacy

Pros: Very clean and fresh linen, well equipped common kitchen, a very beautiful location on the fjord bank: take a stroll down the hill to the church and graveyard and fjord waters! Breakfast was fair enough.

Cons: You could hear other doors slamming, you do not get a private bathroom, too many other people, very little room for parking - parking shortage is a major problem! For that money (a little more than 100 Euros for a night) you actually get a good airbnb cottage in other picturesque parts of Norway.

Lovely hostel with beautiful views

Pros: Amazing hostel, very clean and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings and perfect location. Breakfast was included in the price and it offered wide selection of options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved our stay!

Worth the money!

Pros: The lake view is beautiful. The bed is too soft, but surprisingly comfortable and back pain-free. The toilet is quite clean. The host is so friendly that he suggested us a beautiful route off to Bergen but we can’t detour due to the time constraint! But it’s Jolster-Gaularfjellet-Balestrand-Bergen

Cons: Shower, space, a bit noisy from the road, but it doesn’t affect your sleep since the traffic is not busy
