Dalhus - House with jacuzzi

Fantastic, comfortable, spacious cottage, book it whilst you can!

Pros: Everything was amazing. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. The cottage is beautifully decorated, exceptionally well equipped and incredibly comfortable. We really appreciated having a lovely space within which to relax, the large washer and dryer in the utility room, the modern appliances, comfortable beds, the hot tub, fast wifi and well stocked kitchen. It was spacious and allowed lots of privacy for 2 couples. The outside deck area would have been a lovely place to chill if the weather was a little better, in such peaceful and pretty surroundings. Oddmund was a very welcoming and proactive host and we were grateful for his flexibility in allowing us to add an extra day on our booking at very short notice when our plans changed. If you are considering booking this property do not hesitate, grab it while you can. It is also in a great location for Geirangerfjord (about 40 mins drive, but very much worth staying out of the village) and local hikes etc.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.

Pros: Peaceful location in the valley, spotless house and friendly host. Family of five stayed for 2 nights and would highly recommend! Great starting point for the Trollstigen road as well.

Pros: Dalhus is the perfect place! If you are lucky enough to find it available- just take it. Oddmund is the perfect host, and we liked the place and him so much, our only regret was that we could not stay more time. If we shall have the chance to come back to this area, we shall undoubtedly book Dalhus again. Thank you so much, Oddmund.

A wonderful stay in a peaceful and luxurious house.

Pros: This is a true gem, a beautiful house in a beautiful and peaceful location with fantastic hosts. Every consideration to guest comfort has been given from the large relaxing inside and outdoor areas to comfortable beds and fruit basket on arrival. The Dalhus family are very thoughtful hosts and responsive to any needs you might have. We all loved the jacuzzi and the views of the mountains from every part of the house… a truly wonderful stay.

Pros: A perfect stay. The house is very beautiful, comfortable and have all the amenities you need. It is situated in a quiet valley sorrounded by mountains. Oddmund and his family are the perfect hosts, helping out with recommendations for the area and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.

Pros: Beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. Ready access to Geiranger and the Trollstigen but tucked away from crowds with great options for exploring the countryside.
