Cabin by the fjord

Pros: Location is stunning, outside the hustle of Geiranger. The on-site bar, The Distillery, was epic and the dinner at the hotel was a real treat with food catering to all allergies. The cabin itself was surprisingly under-catered. By this, I mean that it has the space and capability for being self-catered, but lacks some fundamentals, like a jug/kettle for boiling water for tea/coffee, and/or a coffee maker of some description - french press, drip - none of these. If we were staying for more than one night we would've talked to the hotel, I am just surprised it wasnt simply there - just inconvenient to have to go up to the hotel for all amenities, rather than take advantage of the more remote space and have it more self-catered, we thought! Didn't quite hit the mark. But again, it was clean, spacious and comfortable, and cannot beat the glass of wine on the deck, with the uninterrupted fjord views.

Beautiful fjord destination

Pros: The cabin was classily furnished with a good bathroom en-suite . The deck outside was comfortable for relaxing .

Cons: The cabin is in a campsite and we had camper vans in front of the cabin which interrupted the view or feeling of privacy . There is also a road in front of the cabin with campers walking past looking directly into the cabin.

Beautiful but busy.

Pros: Beautiful cabin with luxurious finishings. We loved the deck! Spectacular location, but it is in the middle of a camping ground. Breakfast was excellent.

Cons: From the photos you could be excused for expecting a bit of solitude. We enjoyed the cabin but found it busy.

Pros: Amazing spot and incredible view as the hotel is located on the waters edge of the fjord. Staff were helpful and it’s only a short drive to the main town.

En plein cœur du fjord

Pros: L'emplacement est incroyable avec une vue imprenable sur le fjord. La cabine est confortable et moderne. Le personnel est très agréable et accueillant.

Cons: L'hôtel étant privatisé pour un mariage, nous n'avons pas pu avoir accès au restaurant pour le petit déjeuner. Le petit déjeuner apporté en chambre ne correspondait pas vraiment à nos goûts.

Romantisch huisje

Pros: Prachtig compleet huisje met super uitzicht over het fjord! Erg uitgebreid, lekker ontbijt.

Wish I could have stayed longer.

Pros: Wonderful view despite the weather! Amazing amenities, friendly staff, comfortable, and fantastic breakfast selection in the morning. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Cons: Nothing.

Séjour au calme

Pros: Chalet au grand confort au bord du fjord. Chambre spacieuse et confortable pour un séjour au calme et fantastique dans un cadre idyllique Petit déjeuner excellent

Pros: Super Lage, direkt am Fjord. Ja, in er Reihe davor gibt es Camper, aber ehrlich - wen das stört - diese Kritik kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Frühstück im oberhalb gelegenen Hotel lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren rundum begeistert, außer (siehe unten)
