Pros: Old world feel with big leather couches and large waiting room was great. Feel and look of teh place was better than I expected. Room was large and very quiet. They opened breakfast very early so people could get a breakfast before the boat left for Oslo which was really helpful.

Comfortable, clean and calm hotel with great breakfast and lovely staff.

Pros: Very clean and very comfortable hotel. Older style but suited us fine. Perfect location for walking round Sogndal and exploring further afield. Staff absolutely lovely especially Lynn who looked after us really well and was just delightful. Breakfast fabulous.

Pros: Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Car park close by. Good breakfast

Cons: We arrived on a Sunday and the restaurant was closed but we did find a pizza place not far away

Nice stay in great area

Pros: We had a beautiful room with a view on the fjord. Great location. Breakfast is super!

Cons: We got stuck in the elevator twice. There was no airconditioning in room which made it a bit uncomfortable.

Homely comforts

Pros: We loved the older feel to this hotel and it makes such a change from the grey minimal look that is global now. It reminded me of when I was young ! The rooms are large enough to have two large old leather armchairs which were so so comfy. The staff were incredibly accomodating. The price is a little higher than normal but includes breakfast and despite having a very early staff they provided a packed breakfast for us to take. A welcome change.

Nice hotel in a quiert place

Pros: The hotel was located in the middle of the village and all the attractions were within walking distance. Hotel breakfast was great. If you came by a car BE CAREFUL AS THE HOTEL PARKING PLACE BELONGS TO THE LOCAL KOMMUNE. So you have to pay for the car park from 8AM to 5PM to a parking machine. For electric car driver, the closest car charge was at the local mall.

Cons: The bed was soft and had an extra soft mattress on top. The hotel didn't have an AC system, however, we were lucky and it rained during the evening and the temperature in the room became reasonable for sleeping.

Nice comfortable hotel centrally in town

Pros: We had a short stay at this hotel, but it was very comfortable, and the staff are lovely. Unfortunately for us the weather was pretty ordinary, but we still had a good little stop. No complaints whatsoever.

Pros: The location was terrific. The room was spacious, well appointed and very clean. Lovely staff, especially Justine who want out of her way to be helpful, friendly and had a great personality. This made our stay even more enjoyable.
