Solo traveller at Oppdalsporten

Pros: Easy parking,+ lots more space at the rear of the building. Reasonably good room layout. Restaurant in next building, but not sure I'd eat the food that was out all day , and uncovered! Cooked food was good staff were nice, and very easy to work with.

Cons: Sink in chalet was too small to use, the tap took up all the room in the basin No table in the chalet, and TV was too small to be of any use. Shower was fine.

Great for spending a night along the road. Beautiful place and nature.

Pros: Clean and fresh rooms. Good for spending a night along the road. Located right beside the main road (E6) that goes from south to north all through Norway. It is only a few minutes drive from Oppdal, the nearest town. Nearby you can go skiing, cycling, mountain hiking etc. Friendly staff and great food in the restaurant.

Pros: Helt utmerket sted for å overnatte. Enkel og fin innsjekking😊

Cons: En kan nok være litt tydeligere med å opplyse om at det ikke er frokost i vinterhalvåret. Det gjelder da spesielt for de som ønsker å reise tidlig. Veikroa betjener frokost i sommerhalvåret. I vinterhalvåret åpner ikke kroa før klokken 10:00. Det blir litt for sen frokost. Utover dette er det en utmerket plass for overnatting.

Pros: Lett innsjekk hyggelig dame i restauranten Flott rom til pengene - høy standard

Cons: Ingen kanaler på tv - ingen shampoo/ dusj såpe i badet

Gode senger og flott bad, fint og være der. Men kanskje ord og i hvert fall en god stol

Pros: Rett over Fagerhaug Julemarked der jeg sto og solgte varer. Midt i blinken

Cons: Eneste jeg klager over at det skulle vært et bord der og bedre stoler

Pros: Enkelheten i det komme seg inn på rommet uten at det var noe personale tilstede.

Cons: Intet å bemerke

Pros: Var stort ig fint rom, alt var rent og veldig fint vad. Oppdalsporten var en vedlig fin plass og ha med seg hundene på tur

Pros: Rommet, stort og rent med gode senger. Rent og fint bad. Middagen var meget god.

Cons: Store vanndammer på uteområdet på øvre platå.

Pros: Enkel tilkomst, flott bad . Stort (store) rom ,nært oppdal fallskjerm klubb.

Cons: Kunne godt vært et mini kjøleskap på rommet .

Quaint hotel-motel in Oppdal

Pros: Staff - The staff at Oppdallsporten were friendly from the start(checking in) to me checking out. They helped me out with anything I needed. Restaurant - Free Breakfast! No complaints. It's your traditional Norwegian breakfast items. Outside of that everything on their menu is made to order. While I was there I had both the bacon cheeseburger and fish and chips. Both meals were great and I would have them again if I was there. Room - A lot of room in this room. Thought it would have been smaller since I had been in the country for about a week and was use to smaller rooms.

Cons: Location - not a lot to do in the area if you're without a car(I was backpacking). Housekeeping was kind of loud when they were cleaning out the other rooms while I was there. Other than that, no other complaints.
