Pros: Very nice staff, great breakfast, amazing view and in the city center :)

Cons: I missed an electric kettle with tea and coffee in the room, nowadays it's almost standard. And maybe a small table for the balcony would be great too

Perfect stopover for train travellers

Pros: A traditional tourist hotel, conveniently located right by the railway platform. Everything is a little dated, but in decent condition. Good, extensive breakfast. As a railfan, I enjoyed the view from the room to the railway line.

Cons: Perhaps a tick expensive. Staff were professional but not overly friendly. In general, the hotel could perhaps do with a little makeover. Nevertheless, it's still a nice place that I would definitely recommend.

A w2onderful old hotel.

Pros: Restaurant Perrongen was a highlight for us as the menu was serving local foods. Together with excellent wines, and friendly wait staff, we had a wonderful evening.Breakfast was a typical hotel buffet with some Norwegian style dishes. The room was comfortable with hot shower and comfy bed. There isn’t much happening in Oppdal in September as it is between seasons. We missed out on the musk ox and reindeer.

Cons: Nothing wrong with the hotel, we just picked the wrong time of year to visit. On the bonus side, there were very dew tourists.
